Invite more members

Hey guys. I've been trying to invite more people to join the group and we've got a bunch of new members because of that, but I can only send so many messages in a day, so If you guys see someone you think would be interested in the group give them a holla. It's always better with alot of people that way we can get many different opinions and views. Thanks to everyone who has joined I've really enjoyed the discussions and I look forward too many more to come.

hey guys as of right now we have 187 members which is so great I'm so glad we are all having a great time and we are all meeting some great new friends. I think it would be fun to set a goal. How about by this sunday 3/15/09 we try to hit 200 members. I think we can do it. Just go out into the goodreads world and look up people who like laurell's books and invite them to join. I think it would be fun. We can do it.

i usually just look up laurell's books and see who has rated the books 5 stars or had a good review then I invite them. easy peasy

Is this group turning into one of those *lets see if we can get tons of members* type groups?

If so I think I am out. I joined for the purpose of finding like minded people to talk with who adore LKH, Not so we can try and top group # charts or something.

ok I was just trying to find more people so we could get more types of opinions and more discussions. MOre people= more discussion I wasn't thinking topping group numbers I thought it would just be a fun thing to do. I mean jesus not that big of a deal.

It is when you invite so many people to up your numbers that the purpose of the group is lost.

what are you talking about it was a one time thing to try to hit 200 people. This thread started the day I created this group to try and get more members, so discussion could begin, Cat who was one of the first members and I went out and tried to find more people so we could start talking about Laurell's books. After almost two years I thought it was kinda cool we were close to 200 people so I decided to do it again and Reach out to more laurell k hamilton fans not random people I just come across, and tell them about the group. And um excuse me but I came up with the purpose of the group so I don't think the purpose is lost to me.
