Scott wrote: "Barker."Agreed. Barker returning to the realm of the cenobites. oh my.
Laymon's Terms should be pretty neat though. Laymon, Ketchum, Keene, and Edward Lee were all buddies and there are some stories (nonfiction) and memories they wrote for the late great Richard Laymon, should be pretty interesting. Plus never before released material.
Barkers, but we'll see, he's notorious for NOT publishing on time, delays or outright back-shelfing of 'completed' work. When I see it available on Amazon, I'll believe it.Heck, I remember seeing The Scarlet Gospels listed for availability soon on Amazon.com; two weeks later it was taken down and no word on the project since he's taken a needed break.
I didn't know what the content of the Barker collection would be, but he's more interesting than King and far less prolific, so it's something to be excited about.I think Laymon is rubbish however.
From his Revelations interview Scott, Barker says it's a mix of old short stories that are previously unpublished, some that were scripted for the Books of Blood but didn't make the cut and some newer short story material. I think that Barker excels at short fiction. Not read any Laymon material so I'm not sure.

Compared to Barker and King, I can see where you're coming from, but he was a pretty influential writer. For better or worse.

Stephen King's "Full Dark, No Stars"
Clive Barker's "Black is the Devil's Rainbow"
Richard Laymon's "In Laymon's Terms"
Or is there another book you may know of that you are looking forward to procuring?
