The Traveler = Sci Fi with Spirituality

I really liked this book - I am NOT a science fiction reader but this one caught my eye in the bookstore while I was in Taos , New Mexico. This is a page turner and also a contemporary story of the possibility of the spiritual warriors - but a woman is the warrior and it is actually pretty believable. Not in the fantasy land catagory. I love mysteries and this is definitely one.
