Victoria  | 1 comments Has anyone read this ? I say read it but it is mostly photos. I am mostly interested in the 18ThC. and this book has a wonderful collection from that time period.

Yes, I've read it and used it as a resource. Even though the text is limited, the photos to offer a very good overview of fashion history (and includes some fairly iconic pieces).

Tove | 4 comments The photos are stunning, and if memory serves me correctly (it's been awhile since I've pawed through it), it provides good detail shots so you can really appreciate the beadwork, embroidery, and other delicate embellishment, in addition to the overall silhouettes and colors.
