I recently stumbled upon a site called We Give Books. You log on and read a book (free) to or with your child. In return, they donate a physical book to a literacy organization of your choice.
I did a blog post on it today: www.QuietFuryBooks.com/blog. The ebooks are for kids up to age 10. If you have kids or know someone with kids, this is a great way to promote literacy. Not only does it not cost you a thing, but you get free reads!
