Hey Steve,

Have you read any of Banville's earlier books? The Sea is good, but I think both Book of Evidence and Eclipse are better. It's nice to see someone reading him at all, though!

Steve I've not read anything else by him. I'm not crazy about "the Sea" -- I think I've read one too many "middle-aged white dude looking back at his youth" novels -- but he's a gifted enough scribe to make me curious about more. I'll keep those titles in mind.
