Well, I think I'm going to say the worst: I liked him. He just seemed sort of "nice" to me.
Actually I was much more interested in William (a year ago already - he seemed the more dangerous type to me) and I've always liked shapeshifters.

I never connected with Declan as a character. I really enjoyed the book as a whole and some of the other characters were engaging (Jack, William)
