[Niki, The Once a Pirate Now a Ninja]

Hello all. You should know me. If not, you're silly. And you should probably rectify your not-knowingness of me by reading one of my stories. Catalyst, if you're into epic fantasy type stuff. That one's about an assassin and a princess. Both of them are girls, by the way, and they DO NOT fall in love. If you're into more urban fantasyness, there's Foreshadow and Adventures of a Wayward Witch. My favorite part of writing is the characters, and I will talk to you at length about any one of my characters. I know everything from their childhood pets to their favorite colors, so ask away. I'll answer pretty much any question about my writing and/or my writing process, so don't be shy.

In the fall, I'm off to Interlochen Arts Academy (For those of you who don't know, that's a Performing Arts boarding high school) to major in creative writing. This basically means that I will be living in northern Michigan and writing all day long - five out of my six classes will be creative writing. This is my dream. I mean, I've wanted to go to boarding school since I read Madeline, and later, Harry Potter. And now I get to do that, along with spend a year writing every day, all day.

Okay, so I've rambled long enough. I'm Niki. I write, mostly urban fantasy, and if you've read my stories and commented on them, I love you to pieces.

This one is my favorite at the moment. It's told from two different points of view. Ren is an assassin working for the Catalyst, a secret society bent on killing the princess. Lyric is the princess, soon to become queen. This story has lots of twisties and turns and romance galore, so you should definitely read it.

This one is my only realistic fiction, and it's probably my best. Jackie Barlow got married right out of high school, and she's regretted it ever since. Stuck in a loveless marriage, Jackie retreats to the shores of Lake Michigan. Don't expect frequent updates for this one.
