Yes. He is more experienced.
That doesn't mean anything, and he really doesn't have much experience with love. He spent most of his time advoiding love. The most he came to love was a bond of family with the cullens, before he met bella. So all the experienced he has is what he gets from peoples mind and I would call that cheating.

What I hate about Jacob is that there is a Jacob. I know that the books would be pointless without him, but couldn't they just got a gay guy to be Jacob so he was never really attracted to Bella?

One I hate twilight and think its a cheap version for vampires and werewolves.I really don't mind Jacob. But I think Edward is the crapiest vampire ever. A true vampire doesn't Sparkle. I just think that's lame.
