Max
Booklover: The more I look at those pictures, the more attractive he gets... Yummy.
I, too, considered the Max/Liesel match, awkward as it seems....

I was so for Rudy/Liesel that Max/Liesel didn't even cross my mind until after they were reunited... And then I said to myself, "Naw, they're too much like family." But it still crossed my mind.

Yeah, same!
Yeah, same!

They were not lovers. Im not going to think of them that way. Just good friends. Thats what Zusak implied.
Eh, it kinda makes me cringe to picture Max and Liesel together, although I DID briefly consider it. But at first their relationship was so wierd and awkward. I think it's more of a big brother/little sis thing, or I like the uncle/niece comparison. Despite that, though, I just picture them as good friends - I think someone said kindred spirits - that loved each other like family.
Yeah, even Rudy and Liesel wasn't a true romance. It was more of a... what's the term I'm going for? Childhood sweethearts? Something like that.
like a young boy with a crush, and a girl who dosent know/embrace her feelings. most people can honestly relate
Totally. And there are some girls who don't like anyone but all those other boys like her... okay... back to topic.
I'm going to hope. Leandro: "Hey Tiffany," *scoots closer* "There's juggling today!" *Tiffany gets away*
Bryan Kim: "Good job Tiffany!" *high fives*
"I'll stay on defense." *wishes Tiffany would move to offense with him*
Not going to ask.Eh, might as well contribute to the current topic.
OOOOH once I was at golf camp over the summer and I was the only girl with like nine guys, but it wasn't too bad because all but two of the guys were, like, eleven. o.O Except this one dude who was like the same age as me, but the grade below. (I'm smarter! HAAA! *ahem* Back to the story...)
AND HE LIKED ME A LOT AND IT WAS SO AWKWARD.
You know, it's really hard to avoid someone with a giant crush on you when you're stuck riding in a golf cart with them for two and a half hours.
And golf carts only hold two people.
GAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!! *headdesk*
*blushes, then faints*Right. So. In second grade, this really annoying person (who I might mention is still annoying) named Alex *coughcough* Chen who really liked me. And he yelled out "Tiffany is my fiancee!" in the middle of art... ahh... Jenn wasn't here for any of this... Anyways... then in music, I put away one of those music books that was lying on the floor when Alex said, "Tiffany! That was so nice of you!" (yesh, I was nice back then) "You deserve a kiss." And I'll leave the rest to your imagination... and yes. My cheek is still haunted.
XP I hate kids named Alex. Every Alex I've ever met is a creeper. One of them somehow got my phone number and is now texting me and trying to chat with me on fb...
Oh my gosh. I just got back from seeing a play downtown, and I check Facebook. Apparently Alex was there too, because he posted on my wall how it was so nice to see me again... Reason #185,583,596 why I hate FB...
Idk... I was kind of regretting it this morning.... I was gone all weekend, and I didn't find out that two former students at my school passed away on Saturday until this morning, and everyone was like, "Didn't you see it on Facebook?"
Oh... well, I'm really sorry. :(
But you shouldn't have found it out by fb! Someone could have emailed you, or called you...

I cried when I thought Max had died. Then I cried again when we found out he was still alive.
