I just found out borders is releasing the new series! "Red Pyramid". What are you thoughts? It's Egyptian. It sounds fun so far, but will it be too similar? Your thoughts please.

Well, I think it will be interesting (I plan to buy it) but I am more excited for "The Lost Hero." And since this group is about PJ, shouldn't we presume that most of the books we talk about are by RR?
Yes, I know. But the group name has "Percy Jackson" in it, so if we bring up a book, it must have some kind of connection to PJ in it. hmmm...If you don't get what I'm saying, it's ok. I'm confusing myself a little. If I don't make sense, forget about it.
I put this up because I wondered if anyone else was worried if it would delay the next Camp Halfblood series. If he does 2 series at once, what will happen? I am pretty sure he is still going to do the CH series though, sometime.
I am rather anxious for the CH series to come out, but I'm sure that RR will get around to everything in time.
Oh! I just got The Red Pyramid today for my birthday! I'm on page 71 and really like it so far. It's funny because one of the characters mentions something about not living in Manhattan and the other replys about not going there because of "other gods."
Hmmm....interesting. I'll have to get it. SOON.

I GOT THE RED PYRAMID!1 It's awesome. It is TOO similar, though. same location, Gods, Magical creatures... It is a styory told by a brother and a sister.So, for two chapters, it is Carter, and for the next two chapters, it is the sister. Get it?

I just finished the Red Pyramid! I won't give anything away, but it was really good. And, Selena, it isn't TOO similar. Yes, there is some things that are kinda the same, but hey, it's the same author.

It is amazing. xDDI'm finished. It's wondeful. I hope Rick Riordan doesn't abandon caarer and Sadie, because I like them.. And, i also love Anubis x Sadie xDD

Hmmm...I don't have any. But I do kinda sometimes wish that I WERE a certain character or a mixture of several. But of course that'll never happen, darn it!

The Red Pyramid is AWESOME! I am reading it right now. The series is sort of similar to PJ, except it is egyptian mythology instead. It does briefly mention Percy Jackson. Here's an excerpt:"So you can't live in Manhattan?" she asked
