Seth looked her in the eye. "You are talking to a trained assassin. I know weariness when I see it."

Seth shrugged. "Then I'm supposed to let you collapse on the ground."

Seth carried her back to her place. He put her on her bed an left. "I'm glad she trusts me, because I trust her."

Anya woke up a few hours later, adn walked out groggily to her kitchen, smelling eggs and bacon. mmmm.....was her only thought. She saw Seth, and her memory slowly returned. "Hey..." she whispered.

"Morning." He said, expertly flipping the eggs. "How do you feel?"

"Using enhancements takes a lot out of you. When you get used to it you won't feel so wiped out." He said, slightly answering the question. He put the eggs and bacon on a plate and slid it to her.

He grabbed them out of the air. Sparks flew as the new rubies contacted the old ones in his claws. "Whoa! These are excellent." He said holding them up to the light. "Flawless, but raw. The best kind an elemental can get!"

"How rude of me. Thank you." Seth said, doing a facepalm when he said how rude of me, then removing his hand.

Seth twirled the rubies. "Yes. And mine is a possible downfall. My lust for power."

"Say what?" Seth asked juggling a ruby in surprise.

"Good ridance." Anya muttered
"A protective bro huh?" Seth asked.

"My bad." Seth said, putting the rubies in a secret pocket. "Is he an elemental?"
