Elizabeth | 6 comments It's my contention that more significant events occurred during this week in history than any other.

FDR died.
Gallileo was convicted of heresy.
The Titanic sunk this week.
First man went into space
Lincoln was assassinated.
The Civil War began.
The Battle of Lexington and Concord.
Waco siege ended this week.
The Oklahoma City bombing.
Jackie Robinson broke major league baseball's color barrier.
The Bay of Pigs invasion began.
Benjamin Franklin died.
Paul Revere's ride.
Ernie Pyle was killed.
San Francisco earthquake.

Can you find a more interesting week? Tell me.

Dang! That's a pretty good list :)

Ron Not sure what "this week" includes, but the Columbine High School shootings were on April 20, 1999, the day of Adolph Hilter's birth in 1889.

Of course, all but a few of those events involve only American history, and a couple were linked.
