Nancy Is it old and dated, or is it still worth reading?

Erik | 5 comments I read it about 8 years ago and it is still with me. I didn't find it dated at all. Yeah, it is a product of its time (it was published in 1952), but its emotional core rings true. I still dream about a movie adaptation!

Ivan Two years + from the last post. Be that as it may, I greatly enjoyed this book. I've read a number of books by Highsmith and this is by far my favorite. I think I like it best because it seems more personal, more informed by her own experiences.
