Jim E.m. | 2 comments Suicide terrorists gained control of the aircraft of 9/11 by cutting throats with knives and box cutters. Here's another surprise.

Now they have a deadly new strain of swine flu.

A pharmaceutical profiteer has recruited a bent, egotistical scientist and a merciless terrorist to experiment on human subjects. At a secret camp hidden in Northern Ontario, using a low-tech method available to anyone, they are cultivating a lethal virus that will kill millions of people.

Businessman Morris Parker, ex-soldier, and his ex-army friends intervene in a robbery at the Cumberland Arms pub. In self-defense, Morris kills a young gang member who is shooting at him. A corrupt cop charges Morris with murder. The cop is delivering homeless people to the secret camp.

To save himself, Morris must uncover a plan for mass murder, and he cannot turn to the public authorities for help. Morris and friends face bureaucracy, corruption, and incompetence in a series of early defeats. The more they learn, the greater the danger.

In this game, Morris and his team must go all-in, and ultimately choose between self-preservation and self-sacrifice. The world faces a frightening new weapon of mass destruction.

Have our public authorities learned enough from 9/11 to prevent a recurrence? Morris and friends learn the unfortunate truth.

I'm so excited to announce that my debut novel is finally in print. I hope you all will enjoy it as much as I did writing it! It's available on my website or you can find it at the standard online retailers: (print and kindle) (multi-format ebook)

Walking back home through the badly-lit campus of UNLV, twenty-five year old Alyssa is brutally attacked by two savage men. By the time a handsome stranger intervenes, Alyssa has almost bled to death, and doesn't even struggle as her new protector sinks his sharp teeth into her neck.

Alyssa wakes to a harsh new reality, and to a raging thirst she's never felt before. Lysander, the sexy yet aloof man who turned her, must now teach her the way of the immortals - and with such a desirable teacher Alyssa starts to realize that her fate is not as dark as she first feared.

But, just as sparks begin to fly between the pair, Lysander is alerted that his enemies are on the move and determined to destroy them both.

Led by the cunning and ruthless, Santino Vitale, the fanatical Acta Santorum have vowed to hunt down and destroy every last immortal in God's name, and they have the vampires of Las Vegas in their sights.

Meanwhile, after seeing that Lysander has taken a new mate, the beautiful and pitiless Kallisto, is out for revenge. Alyssa soon finds out that hell hath no fury like a vampire scorned.

Together the pair must face two separate enemies determined to destroy them. It's time to, Carpe Noctem, or submit to final death.

Lynn Dove (woundedtrilogy) | 5 comments Shoot the Wounded, the first book in the “Wounded Trilogy“ is written for youth and young adults, addresses how lies and gossip destroy a person’s spirit. It speaks to the heart of relevant themes such as bullying, teen pregnancy and family violence all the while pointing the characters and ultimately the reader, to hope in Jesus Christ.

Shoot The Wounded by Lynn Dove

Heal the Wounded is the much-anticipated sequel to Lynn Dove’s brilliant debut novel, Shoot the Wounded.
Heal the Wounded, like Shoot the Wounded, delves even deeper into the real world of teenagers trying to live out their faith in the midst of upset and struggle.

Will these youth find God’s healing and hope in the middle of hurt and heartache?

"Brilliantly written, poignantly told, readers who loved Shoot the Wounded will not be disappointed with Heal the Wounded‘s powerful message and the on-the-edge-of-your-seat storyline."

Both books were selected as resources on the largest anti-bullying website in the world:

P.Q. Glisson | 8 comments Her Sanctuary by P.Q. Glisson
Hey everyone! I just self-published my debut novel, Her Sanctuary. It's available at over 25,000 bookstore websites including, The Book Depository, and just recently
Here's the synopsis:

Shannon Mallory was a woman on the run….not from outside forces but from her own wounded heart. When she pulled up into the parking lot of The Last Resort Café, in the town of Sanctuary, little did she know she would find the one thing she never even knew she was searching for….true love.

Seth Proudfoot wasn’t looking for anything, except an end to his miserable existence. Accused of a crime he couldn’t remember committing, he was ostracized by a town that, ironically, bore the name of the one thing he could never find….Sanctuary.

When the two meet, neither can ignore the magnetic pull between them, but will Shannon allow her damaged spirit to trust a man…a man who may have murdered his own family?

Though Shannon is the most beautiful woman he has ever seen, it is her spirit that breaks down the iron-clad shield around his heart. Their desire burns hotter than the Arizona desert, threatening to melt the very mountains that loom like silent Gods above their heads. But can their love survive a betrayal that could very well cost them both their lives?

I've had great reviews and over 350 people from goodreads have added it to their "to read" list. That's pretty good considering I AM my marketing team and the book has only been out since January. It has an average of 4 out of 5 stars on amazon and right here at goodreads.

If you like adult romance/mysteries with a touch of the supernatural, then I highly recommend it.

Jennifer DeLucy (jennifer_delucy) | 4 comments Hi, folks! What an awesome resource. My name is Jennifer DeLucy and I've begun a paranormal series (the Seers series.) The first book, Seers of Light, was released in February. Seers of Light

Here's the deets:

"Lillian Hunt has never truly lived. Always sensing more to the world than is easily perceived, she fears that her instincts are stubborn flights of fancy, or worse, mental instability. But some things—disappearing strangers, tangible dreams, and visits from malevolent creatures—cannot be ignored. Before it's too late, Lillian is ripped from the only existence she’s ever known and thrust into a reality that she always suspected, but could scarcely believe. She must learn the truth about who she is, the powerful beings that wish to destroy her, and the two men who would die to protect her.

Jennifer DeLucy has created a unique, enchanting tale of destiny and the ageless power of love in her debut novel, Seers of Light. DeLucy's novel charms readers with quirky characters, while sketching a haunting portrait of one woman's journey on the path of the supernaturally gifted. But be prepared. Once you've entered the world of Seers, you will never be the same."

P.Q. Glisson | 8 comments Hey Kiki,
I have a question. What distinguishes an erotic romance from an adult romance? My book Her Sanctuary, is considered an adult romance/mystery. There are plenty of steamy sex scenes between the two characters, possibly more than the average romance novel. I personally don't think it would be erotica but I'm a little foggy on what warrants a book being called erotica. Can you clear it up for me?

message 20: by Kiki (new)

Kiki (kiki_howell) | 3 comments I don't think there is any difference between those two. I think it is just a matter of terms used. I do distribution, and when you go to the different sites like say Amazon or All Romance Ebooks, the words they use for their genres can be "Adult" or "Erotic" However, there is a difference between Erotica and Erotic Romance, which is the reason for the sex scenes and the type of ending. It really just comes down to on different publishers sites finding the 'heat' level your book falls into. I know that all of my pubs have some kind of heat levels, or whatever they call it to explain to readers what adult content is in the book. Example

Did I answer anything for you there? :) Someone else may have a different opinion though. Just my experience.

message 21: by P.Q. (new)

P.Q. Glisson | 8 comments I was told one time that erotica consists of more than one partner in a love scene or explicit male on male or girl on girl action. My book has plenty of sex scenes but they aren't graphic. There aren't any porno terms or multiple partners. The reason I tend to call it "adult" is to separate it from "young adult". I have a lot of young goodreads friends and I want to make sure they understand that it's not for young teens or tweens. I wouldn't want to get a stern talking to from their moms. lol
But thanks for the explanation. I appreciate you taking the time to message me. :)
I would love for you to become my friend and for you to check out my debut novel, Her Sanctuary. Take a look "inside the book" on to get a sneak peek.

Reviews of this historical fiction novel set in the 1920s are excellent and I am thrilled. Hope you will check it out.

Crestmont Crestmont by Holly Weiss

"A dream, after all, needn't be fueled by particulars, only by desire." So notes main character, Gracie Antes, in CRESTMONT, a historical fiction gem set in the 1920s. Determined to take control of her life, sheltered Gracie Antes leaves her unhappy home in 1925 to pursue her dream of a singing career. On her way to the big city, she accepts a job as a housemaid at the bustling Crestmont Inn. Once there, Gracie finds a life-changing encounter with opera singer Rosa Ponselle, family she never imagined could be hers, and a man with a mysterious past. Relive the 1920s with a colorful cast of characters. Discover with Gracie that sometimes we must trade loss for happiness. Set in Eagles Mere, Pennsylvania, the story is interwoven with details about the town, the rich history of The Crestmont Inn, and the family who passed ownership from one generation to the next. Many attempts have been made to explain how the mountaintop lake nestled in this tiny town came to be. Crestmont gives a new twist to an old Native American legend, setting the tone of grace around which the story is built. Let the period of the Roaring Twenties spark your interest with its unique social mores, fashion, jazz, and yes, a little bootlegging thrown in for pizzazz.
