((FINALLY!))
Raven ran through the forest, and then finally came to the end of the tracks. It was in a small, dark clearing in the heart of the forest, but nothing was there. No monster. She hopped off of the tree and landed silently on the ground. She looked around, confused. The monster is suppossed to be here... She continued to search the place, and then stopped, when she hear a rustle in the bushes before her. She froze in place, and stared intently at the bush.

Marina hesitated. "Errr... I didn't exactly see her, but I know it was her." Marina paused. Catching sight of a confused look, Marina continued, "Raven jumped into this tree that I had been hiding in and then she left and began chasing something..." Marina trailed off, and, while catching her breath heard a sharp gasp in the distance ((Raven??)).
((sure.))
Raven looked hard at the bush, until finally, the monster came creeping out. Raven stepped back, a ball of fire in her right hands, poised for attack.

Deeply bothered by the harshness of the gasp, Marina decided to come to the girls aid (the gasp sounded quite feminine). While running towards the sound, Marina caught sight of Raven. Deciding to play it safe, Marina stepped into the pond and willed it to remain still and silent. Carefully, Marina drenched herself (so that she could continue to use her magic) and headed towards Raven. However, before continuing, Marina looked over her shoulder and beckoned for James to follow. She figured Raven could use as much help as she could get...
Raven watched as the monster race towards her, a large bellow filling the forest. She through her fire balls at it, but to no avail. She backed up as it chased her, desperately searching her boots for her dagger.
Hearing a loud howl from some invisible creature, Marina decided to wait no longer. Turning away from the cave, Marina rushed towards Raven. Willing the water on her eyes to allow her to see the creature which was attacking Raven, Marina nearly fainted. The monster was a mess of vines, it had hideous eyes that bore into her like a knife. Willing the image to unfocus slightly, Marina mangaged to see only a dark shadow.Knowing full well that Raven needed help, Marina decided to begin with a defense move. Marina willed a puddle to appear directly underneath the the monster, hoping that the beast would lose its footing.
((When are we going to get to the part about Thomas? Sorry, I just thought about it.))

((Getting there...))
The monster screamed, and then sent out a tentacle towards Marina, and then grabbed her, and threw her into a tree. It then moved out of the way of the puddle, and raced towards Raven, who had finally found her dagger. But it was too late, the monster was faster. It made several of its tentacles go after Raven, and then dragged her towards it. Raven screamed.

Raven was pulled into the monster, and then it disappeared with a large puff of smoke, Raven's screams now silent.
((Marina, not Mirana!!!!!!! Arrgh, Zelda!!!))Marina stared at the now contaminated water in dismay. She was quite upset, the monster had simply poisoned the puddle and then escaped the trap: that was not supposed to happen. Slowly, Marina raised her gaze and turned towards Raven. "Is it gone?" she asked.
((Sorry, Shay...just hold on a bit..))
When Marina had dashed off into the trees in search of Raven, James had reached out through the ground, frantically trying to find his friend. Wait! -- There she was, wielding magic against another magical creature, this one filled with dark power.
James sensed that he was too far away to do anything if he got up and ran for Raven now. He would have to try and do something from where he was...gingerly he extended an outcrop of power and probed the dark creature.
Waves of nausea rolled through him. James had been standing up, but now he fell to the ground, winded. Black spots swam in front of his eyes and a barely noticeable sound buzzed in his ears. Feebly James tried to reach for Raven again, only to discover that he couldn't extend his power like he usually could. Now he felt very panicked, for he could feel Raven's fear all the way over to where he was. And when the creature touched Raven, her terror hit him like a physical blow. ((James usually isn't this sensitive to other people's feelings, but, you know...it's Raven...))
James lay on his back and closed his eyes. He felt very feverish and was pretty sure he was hyperventilating. The buzz in his ears had gotten louder. Very distantly he heard the other girl, Shay, yelling at him to release her from her bonds and go help Raven.
Help Raven. The one thought swam to the forefront of his muddled mind. He gathered up what remained of his magical strength and dragged Shay's restraints back into the ground, but the effort proved too much for him and he delved into nothingness.
((Wow, only 4 pages and James has already passed out three times...Sorry about the long post, but I had to explain what was going on when I wasn't able to post...))

((So cute!! AMAZING!))
Raven felt the darkness around her, and tried to fight it, but it was too much. She felt sick, and lost grip of reality.
The monster reappeared infront of a dark building.

((Wait!!! Before Raven meets Thomas, here's some basic info about him, so that she can describe him accurately...
Thomas has white-blond curly hair and tanned skin. He has bright blue eyes and if he's awake he's going to be seriously p***** with his kidnappers. He's easily distracted and very temperamental...oh yeah, and he can control air. But he won't be able to (drugged or unconscious).))

((okay.))
The monster threw Raven over the gate, and then a guard caught her. She instantly had her mind back, and tried to burn him with her fire, but her was in a fire proof outfit. She cursed, and then started to struggle, but her was faster. He had out a suringe and jabbed it into her neck. She could feel her magic fade, and felt weaker. He smiled, and then walked her into the large building.

((heehee!))
The large guard carried her up towards the attic of the building. She lost track of how much time had past, for the drug had messed up her mind. She was seeing colors for pete's sake! Finally, they got up to the attic, and he opened up the door. There, he threw her in, and she landed hard against the wall.
((hey, you could be Thomas...))

((Weh, my rules say no rping two of your characs in one rp...but then, he technically isn't on my character list...and anyway, he's going to be unconscious or drugged so he can't exactly talk to Raven. Agh, g2g, lunch))
((Aww, okay.))
Raven had her hand up on her head before she noticed, and then brought it down to look at. It was red, and sticky. She grimaced, and then saw something move in the corner of her eye. She looked over, and saw it was a boy. Is this who James was looking for?

((It's too late now!! I shall rp Thomas!! Mwahahahaha...but, y'know, if you need him to do something and I'm not there, by all means, do it.))
Thomas stirred at the sound of a body hitting the wall. Wearily he opened his eyes as a man slammed the door shut. Struggling to get up from her position by the wall was a dark-haired girl, muttering curses. Thomas felt a ripple of surprise through him. Who was this girl?

Raven finally sat up, and then saw the boy was awake. She looked at him and then asked,"Hey, are you okay?"
Thomas studied the girl for a couple of moments. "No," he said finally. "And I'm betting you're not, either. Who are you? Why are you here?" If he had his powers, he would be able to tell if she had magic, and possibly read her mind, but as he was he was just as useless as any normal kid.
She looked at the boy, and then said," I'm Raven, I don't know why they targeted me." She then felt her voice slip away, and then random colors filled her sight.
Thomas rubbed his head as he noticed the drug taking effect on Raven. Luckily he had been asleep for a while, so its most disconcerting side affects had worn off, but he still couldn't use his powers. Then he noticed the girl's head injury. "Where'd you get that?" he asked, hoping Raven could hear him.
"Ugh...I landed hard in here..." Raven saw the world begin to spin, and then felt the ground on her side. She blinked and then groaned.
While Marina was waiting for a reply, she noticed that Raven had disappeared. Somehow, she knew that the monster was not gone. It had escaped... and then reappeared somewhere else. And... It had abducted Raven.Terrible visions of the shadowy creature floating through her mind, Marina decided to return to the cave. On her way, Marina stopped by the pond to take a drink, and, of course, to relieve her aching body and replenish her powers. After having soaked herself, Marina felt at peace. The soft grass comforted her tired feet, and the lush foliage let just enough light in. Enough to see and even enough to read, but a small enough amount that it was not hot.
Upon arriving at the site of the cave, Marina noticed that the boy, James, was unconscious. In attempt to rouse him, Marina asked, "Are you alright? What happened?"
((How rude of Raven to get abducted before answering the question posed before her. Ha, sorry Zelda, I just had to say that.))
Raven groaned, and then tried to sit up again, but then felt nauseous. She fell back down to the floor, and tried to catch her breath.
she had an idea "YEA" she transformed into a brid and the ground handcuffs slipped of!!She trned into a bloodhound she caught Ravens secnt,Marina secnt,Thomas senct. She follwed ravens it came whith a monsters secnt too.
Thomas got up and crouched by Raven's side. "Mind if I take a look?" he asked. Not waiting for an answer, he pushed back her hair and viewed the wound. Thomas inhaled sharply, then walked across the room and picked up his jacket. "I'll try and patch you up a bit," he said, digging around in the pockets of his jacket. Carfully he applied the little disinfectant he had left and then bound up Raven's head with a strip he had torn from his jacket. "You should be okay now."
((Shay, your charac can't follow Raven's scent to where she is now. The monster teleported! There's no scent trail that will lead her to Raven. And Thomas isn't there, he's someplace else. I think you mean she got James's scent.))
James moaned and opened his eyes. "Why do I keep fainting?" he asked out loud. "Never mind. I don't want to know the answer." ((Btw, he's still on the ground.))

Marina looked at James thoughtfully. "Are you hurt? Or just dehydrated?"Looking about herself, Marina picked up a large leaf and willed it to be filled with water. After drinking her fill, she once more filled it with the amazing clear liquid and offered the leaf-cup to James.
((Sorry, but Marina is a very caring person.))
((Um...Shay...what are you talking about?))
James propped himself up with one hand, absentmindedly causing a rock to grow out of the ground for him to lean on. "Well...it was more hurt..." he said. He accepted the leaf-cup and drank the water. "Thanks." Then he narrowed his eyes. "Did you see what happened to Raven?"

Marina started. "Can, can I get you something? To, to ease your pain?" she asked. While searching desperately for some mint leaves so that she could make tea for the both of them Marina continued. "As for Raven... errr... no." she decided. "We were fighting. I asked her if the monster was gone... I mean for good. I already knew it had disappeared. And, the next thing I know, she's gone. Poof! Disappeared! Gone! I guess she was kidnapped or abducted or something... But, that's about all I know..." Marina trailed off. She sensed something. A disturbance in the balance of things. The fish were frolicking, but not out of happiness, out of agitation. "I'll, I'll be right back" Marina said, and she was gone.Treading across stones, Marina approached the pond. She began conversing with the fish. They told her that the monster was not gone. It had taken Raven. And then, the most dreaded thing happened, it returned... without her. Frantically, Marina raced back towards the cave to alert James.
"James!" she shouted, forgetting all about the mint tea, "The monster's back... Without Raven!" Marina concluded, out of breath. "Are, are you okay? We need to destroy this thing once and for all!" Marina said tentatively. She was still worried that James would not be able to fight... she needed all the help she could get... but she would make do. Maybe the tea would help... "Oh!" Marina started. Once again she was running about, searching for the mint herb. Upon finding it, Marina immediately filled two leaf-cups with warm water and threw a leaf into each. She handed one to James and took a sip out of the other.
((Shay can smell the monsters secnt!!!!Even if the montser telapored i can still smell him sorry i screwed up i will delate my mixed up comments)) Shay gazed up at raven."You ok".
Thomas looked at the new girl suspicously. He was kinda surprised when a dog had burst in and transformed into a girl, but any type of help was welcome.
"Um," Thomas said. "You're at an evil guy's lair. Don't know much more than that."
"Um," Thomas said. "You're at an evil guy's lair. Don't know much more than that."
((dog?))
"Ugh, I suspected as much. Oh no, I hope James is okay..." Raven said, sitting against the wall.

((You know, Shay))
"James?" Thomas said sharply. "What James are you talking about?"
James had taken a big gulp of the tea, but at Marina's news he promptly spat it out. "What?! The monster's here?" Thoughts raced through his mind. Maybe it had come for him. Maybe he would be able to trace its origins back to Raven. Maybe he could beat it up into slimy little bits and send it to the depths of Tartarus.

Raven blinked her eyes, and then said,"He's about this tall, sorta screwed up brown hair, dark brown eyes....Wait, you aren't Thomas, are you?"
Thomas pressed his lips together. "That's my name. When did you see James? How do you know him? What's he doing?"
"Uh...I saw him before I was taken here, Um, I met him at my old orphanage, and uh...He's probably trying to find us." Raven said, clinging to every last bit of her conscience she could keep a grip on. She felt like she was going to pass out.
Solemnly, Marina nodded at James; she could tell that he was worried. "Hey," she said suddenly, "drink the tea. It'll help you out. That is, if you want to help me fight this demon." Marina said this encouragingly hoping to gain an enthusiastic exclamation from the boy.Marina figured that James was really worried about Raven. She sighed, "Once we get the monster out of here for a while... Well, then we can go look for Raven." Marina said with skeptical smile.
"What do you mean, out of her?" James asked, already getting to his feet. "Where is this monster, so I can beat the s*** out of it."
Thomas put his hands up defensively. He was pretty strong, but he wasn't going to beat anyone in a fight without his powers. "Hey, cool it, shape-shifting chick. My name's Thomas. I'm a friend of James. And I don't know exactly who kidnapped us and threw us up here. Okay?"
