Saving the World...Again
"WHAT?! I just barely met this guy! And I left because I hate that place!" Raven said, now a little disturbed.
((Lol...her boyfriend...just get James to a relatively safe place and lay him down so he can wake up.))
((okay..))
Raven turned and said,"Fine. Follow me if you must, but I'm leaving." She then began to walk into the forest, carrying James. After about ten minutes, she found a nice cave, and set him down. She then found some twigs and made a fire with a flick of her hand.

((When and where do I come in? How 'bout someone sees a girl... that'll be Marina... and then I come in.? :D))
((cool))
Raven kept watch over James and then sighed. She was about to go to sleep, but was stopped by the sight of someone in the entrance. Raven jolted up and then yelled,"Who's there?!"

James jolted awake at the sound of someone yelling. He wasn't sure when he had passed from unconciousness to sleep, but it had definitely happened...blinking drowsily, he pushed himself up with one hand, ignoring his pounding headache. He squinted at the shadowy form silhoutted by the firelight. "Wha...where am I?"
Raven turned to James and said,"You're about two miles from those men's hideout. You're in a cave. By the way, is your head okay?"
Cautiously approaching the two, Marina waved her hand. "Uh, I'm Marina. I came because, I was strolling through the woods when I saw this fire. Are you guys okay? 'Cause there's this orphanage just a couple miles away if you want me to get help--"((Maybe Marina should be cut off... since they don't want the orphanage to be aware of their running away.))
"No!" James almost-yelled. Realizing how loud he had said it, he lowered his voice slightly. "We don't need any help." Especially from that orphanage, he thought. "We're fine. And, in answer to your question, my head is most definitely not okay," he said to Raven, touching his sore spot and wincing. "What happened?"
"You got hit on the head," she then briskly looked over at Marina, saying,"If you even think about sending me back there I'll haunt you in your sleep."
"That doesn't explain why I'm in a cave ten miles from that warehouse," James said, a bit irritably. He still didn't know if he could trust this girl, even though she had helped him defeat those thugs. "And how can you haunt someone in their sleep?"
Raven looked over at James and said,"You'd rather not know," and then quickly added," I couldn't leave you out there in the street unconscious, and plus, I wasn't gonna camp out there next to the road. Thats just begging to go back to the Orphanage!"
"Hey! Uh, it seems like you don't want anyone to know about you, but... Do you want me to get some painkiller. I can get some medicinal herbs too, if you like!" Marina trailed off.
Raven looked over at Marina and then said,"How do I know I can trust that you won't go and report us to the police or anyone else?"
James sighed. "I've learned a certain thing or two the past month," he said quietly. "I'll make sure she doesn't go beyond this forest."
James nodded. He wasn't about to tell this new girl--Marina--or Raven just the extent of his powers.
James smiled. "Don't worry. I won't." He splayed his hand on the ground and carefully concentrated on Marina. "Yeah, painkillers would be nice. And something to help my head."
Raven looked at him with concern and then looked up, mad at herself for caring about him. What's wrong with you?!? Get a hold of yourself!
((*sings* Raven likes James...Raven likes James... ^^ yes I'm so annoying, aren't I?
And now I can't do anything until Marina goes off...shoo, Marina, go find something to help James's poor head...))

Hmmm... Marina thought, no leaving the forest. I guess that means no painkillers for him. Oh well, I'll figure out something.Rushing out of the cave, Marina found a small pond hidden behind some bushes. Although this pond contained only freshwater, she willed for salt crystals to surface. Within a matter of seconds, Marina had an ounce of salt in her hands. "Sorry little fishies!" she whispered.
After retrieving some poppy seeds and basil leaves, Marina soaked them in water, and lightly salted them. This ought to do she decided, and hurried back to the cave.
Back at the cave entrance, Marina turned to the girl. "This should help his headache." she said handing her the salted 'taco' of basil leaves and poppy seeds. "I have more salt if necessary." Cringing, Marina then said, "I guess I shoud go get some ice."
((Exactly, how is James hurt? Does he have cuts and bruises, a broken bone, what?))
((James got whacked on the side of the head with a sharp rock hard enough to fall unconcious!!! How do you think he's hurt???))
James opened his eyes. ((He had them closed while he was tracking Marina.)) "Thanks," he told Marina, taking the weird-looking pack of leaves and other stuff from Raven. I wish Harumi was here, James thought. She'd know exactly what to get to help my injury...and she'd know if the stuff in here is poisonous or something.

Raven sighed, and then sat down. She was tired, but she kept on her best alert face to make sure the others didn't notice.
((Let's say that Marina has left already...)) "Are these poisonous?" James asked Raven, inspecting the handful of leaves he held in his hands.
((Okay))
Raven took the leaves and then sniffed them. She shook her head and said,"No, they just taste horrible, but they'll help you with your head wound. Keep the swelling down." She then handed them back.

James sighed. He barely knew this girl -- how could he trust her? -- but there wasn't really any other option at this point. Making a face, he stuffed the leaves into his mouth and swallowed. Immediately he felt as if he wanted to throw up. "Ugh..." he groaned. "That tasted vile...I need water."
Raven turned, and then fished out a bottle of water from her backpack. She then handed it to James.
Her feet two inches from the pond, Marina hesitated. She knew that she must bring ice to the boy. His head was swelling and bleeding, he must have been in a fight. Though Marina could control water, she was deathly afraid of frozen water. Whimpering, Marina scooped up a handful of pond-water. She then willed it to become solid. Closing her eyes to avoid catching a glimpse of the ice cube, Marina followed the well worn path back to the cave, which she had visited often.Taking note of the scene occurring inside the cave and knowing that water would dissolve the solution, Marina switched the water bottle and the ice cube (through magic). Now relieved, Marina explained that it was necessary to wait ten minutes before drinking or eating anything after the salted basil leaves and poppy seeds.
"Put the ice cube on his head," Marina said, nodding at the girl, "before it melts."
((...You guys have been having fun without me. D: ))Poppy watched quietly as Raven dragged the boy away. Then she ran after her. Once they reached the cave, she found a corner to sit in and wondered if she could be useful.
She silently wished she could help the boy. He was obviously hurt.
Do you really want to help?
Poppy sat up straight. "Did you guys here that?" she asked the two other girls. The voice had been loud. Almost as if the speaker had been right next to her.
((Could you guys do me a favour and not have James get better anytime soon. I feel like displaying the wonderful power of Wish. You guys didn't hear the voice: it was in Poppy's head. Just act like you think Poppy is a weirdo. Yeah...>> ))
Marina stared at the young girl. Three strangers in a cave Marina smirked. Wonderful, just wonderful Marina thought sarcastically. "I'm Marina." Marina stated. "Heh." Marina laughed. "You're making me think that you're the one who was unconscious just a couple minutes ago." Marina said to the short-haired girl. Pondering what this young girl might have heard, Marina asked, "Do you want to go for a walk around the woods?"
Poppy shook her head. Then she asked with wide eyes, "You...you didn't hear him? The voice?"Now she was seriously scared, what was the voice and--
Calm down.
There it was again.
Calm down, Poppy. I'm on your side.
And it knew her name. Wonderful.
Really, Poppy. If you want to help James, you'd better listen to me.
Who has James?
Poppy, who had been staring at the cave wall blankly suddenly asked, "Who's James?"
Raven raised an eyebrow, as she looked towards Poppy. "It's the voice again, isn't it? He's James," she said, pointing towards the boy she was tending to.
Marina smiled. "Nice to meet you. Should I get anything else, or is everyone okay? If I don't need to get anything else I'd like to take a nap. I'm extremely tired." the exhausted girl proclaimed.
Raven nodded, and then said,"Sweet dreams." She then noticed the ice had been melted for quite a while, and then yanked her hand back, her face red. She then said,"I'm going to sleep also," and then laid down, trying to hide her red cheeks.
((Awww...Raven kept her hand on James's head longer than was necessary...so sweet!! I think I might die from the cuteness of it all!!))
"Thanks," James told Raven, a small smile spreading across his face. He had no idea why he was suddenly grinning like that, but he was. James carefully touched his injury -- where Raven's hand had been just moments earlier -- and was relieved to discover that it no longer hurt as much as it had before. In fact...
James carefully ran a hand over his skull. "Is it just me, or is my head completely healed?" he asked, confused. He was tempted to make a mirror out of the rock surrounding him, but he knew he should save his powers for later.

((aww, she healed his head wound too!!!! I might barf..))
Raven closed her eyes, hoping it was a bad dream. She hated this. Her heart was pounding against her chest, and her face was red. She couldn't think straight without a picture of James appearing in her head.
