James closed his eyes and breathed slowly. He let his power drift down and out through the ground, searching for Thomas's power. Normal person, normal person, normal person, normal person, water, normal person...
Water. James stopped and went back to where he had found the cool power. That must be Marina... so where was Thomas?
Water. James stopped and went back to where he had found the cool power. That must be Marina... so where was Thomas?
((What in the world? First of all, I don't know why it was important that I post, second of all, I only somewhat understand because you said "Thomas being all weird". So I kind of get it.))"Thomas?" Marina breathed in sharply. She was worried about him. "Is everything all right with James?" Maybe he could sense something. After all, Thomas had known James for a long time.
((Thomas just staggered backwards like he ran into something, so Marina should be worried about him... I'm sorry for not explaining what I want to happen clearly.
Also, the reason James can't sense Thomas is because Thomas has that chip thingy in his arm, so James can't sense his magic, but he can sense Marina's because Marina is kind of on the outside of the chip's radar.))
"No," Thomas muttered. "No, it's not. James is in trouble..." He looked up suddenly. "This way," he said, and ran off down a corridor.
--
Marina, normal person... what was that? James frowned. It felt like slate, but there was magic there, too. It felt... odd. Cold. Unfeeling. What the heck?

Marina chased after Thomas, worried about what might happen to him if he was alone... without his magic.((Is James 'feeling' the robot?))
The robot continued on stealth mode (no lasers) towards Perkn's office.
((Yes, James is 'feeling' the robot...))
Thomas took one turn after another, heedless of obstacles. The robot followed his path unerringly. "...James!" Thomas said, skidding to a stop in front of a blank wall. "He needs me... I mean, us," he amended, reddening. "Here..." He placed a hand on the wall.
--
James looked up suddenly. "Someone's on the other side of that door," he said, eyes wide.

Raven groaned, pain in her cry. She looked at the door, feeling extremely helpless. "Evil....or....not....?"
"Not evil..." James said, "looking" beyond the door. "But wait... there's something..."
--
"JAMES!" Thomas yelled through the wall. The robot, which had been following slowly behind him, finally caught up. "Allow me," it said mechanically, pushing Thomas out of the way. Before Thomas caught his breath to protest, the robot extended a mechanical arm to the wall. Its eyes whirled, then with a strange crunching noise, the wall sort of... fell away, revealing a metal door that the robot was now opening.

Raven saw the door begin to open, and then looked back up at the ceiling. She winced, the pain in her shoulder still in extreme pain. She closed her eyes, trying to keep from thinking about the large growing patch of blood around her.
"James!! What's the problem? I came as fast as I could..."
"It's Raven," James said hurriedly. "She got shot in the shoulder, and she's losing a lot of blood..."
"It's Raven," James said hurriedly. "She got shot in the shoulder, and she's losing a lot of blood..."
Marina rushed in past the robot at the sight of Raven surrounded by a red puddle. Biting the end of Raven's already torn vest and then tearing it across until she was left with a long black strip, Marina bandaged Raven's wound with her own clothing, then knotted it, thrice. ((Raven should notice that she can hardly feel her fingers.))Realizing how dangerous this could be, Marina began massaging Raven's left hand.
Raven grimaced, feeling someone rebandage her shoulder. She felt a light squeezing sensation coming from her hand and glanced down to see a blurred hand holding her own. She tried to squeeze it in answer, but found she could barely move/feel her fingers. She paled even more, if it were even possible.
((Emily, Bobbie controls James.))"I hope," replied Marina earnestly. "Hold her hand, let me see if I have any jelly pebbles." At once Marina began searching her bag for clear, squishy, pebble-shaped blobs.
(('Jelly pebbles' stop bleeding, or any kind of leaking. They have to do with Marina's water power, but she does not yet know how to create them. So she has a limited supply, for now.))
((Sorry, that was me, I was over at Emily's house... ^^))
"What are jelly pebbles?" the boys chorused, then exchanged looks.
"What are jelly pebbles?" the boys chorused, then exchanged looks.
Raven didn't have the slightest clue as to what the h*ll jelly pebbles were and didn't really care. She was more interested in getting the feeling back into her hands, or, more specifically, her fingers.
((Oh... And I thought I explained the jelly pebbles thing.))"They stop leaks, including bleeding." Searching one-handed was getting tiring. "Would one of you please get over here and squeeze Raven's hand, I don't want her to lose circulation," asked Marina, exasperated.
Raven passed out, unable to stay awake any longer. She was in a deep sleep now, her breathing slow and shallow.
James immediately started massaging Raven's hand. "She's unconscious. Do something!" he begged Marina.
((You explained what jelly pebbles are to us, but not to our charries...))

Marina finally found her bag of jelly pebbles. "Keep holding her hand," she instructed James. Then, Marina squeezed a jelly pebble in each end of the bandage. Pushing the edges of the bandage in, and placing jelly pebbles in the edges, Marina proceeded until the bandage could be removed. The bleeding had stopped, but Raven needed to remain still in order for the jelly pebbles to fully work their magic. "Make sure she stays still," Marina told James, then edged over to Thomas.
Raven suddenly grimaced, feeling the jelly pebbles do their work. It was so slow and painful. She felt the need to squirm and couldn't help but do so.
"Stop it," James said firmly and held her still. "I could stick you in the ground, and then you really wouldn't be able to move. So don't."
She groaned, her shoulder really hurting. She looked at him, her normally red eyes a bright golden, shining with her magic. She was really trying not to set him on fire accidentally, trying to keep from lashing out.
"Your eyes are so pretty," James said suddenly. When Thomas gave him a look like, What? he gave him a look that said Just ignore me. "Like molten gold."

((PFFT......))
Raven blinked, almost forgetting about the pain in her shoulder and managed to ask,"R-really?"
Raven blinked, almost forgetting about the pain in her shoulder and managed to ask,"R-really?"
"Yeah," James smiled. "I've never seen gold eyes before. It's really amazing. Better than any real gold, I think."
Raven couldn't help but blush, her mind now completely off the pain in her shoulder. "Stop it, now you're just saying stuff..."
The jelly pebbles seemed to have finished working and the bleeding had stopped. Raven noticed the pain had died down and she relaxed a little, her eyes reverting to their normal red. She was about to answer him, but noticed he was still ontop of her and blushed even more. "Um, James..."
James blushed too. "You're better? Oh. Good." Quickly he moved aside so he was kneeling next to her.
Raven nodded. She tried to sit up, but felt really lightheaded suddenly, and fell back onto the ground. She groaned, extremely annoyed.
James bit his lip uneasily. "I'm thinking you should stay out of the fighting for a while." And go to a hospital, he thought.
Marina watched as Raven was healed. If she was well enough to curse, Marina figured she could interrupt. "Umm, I believe we were trying to get that chip out of Thomas's arm." Marina looked over to Thomas, her chestnut hair falling over her shoulder as she turned.
"Thank you for reminding Captain Lovebird here," Thomas muttered, "that his best friend is is desperate need of assistance..."
"Don't call me that!" James stood up and looked around. "What the h#ll is that?" he yelped when he saw the robot.

"I can see that!" James looked at the robot, eyes still wide. "Actually, no. I've never seen a robot like that before. What does it do?"
"Well, it..." Thomas began, but the robot interrupted him. "I am programmed for combat and the use of most weapons, in addition to the use of magic."
"Magic!" James gaped at the robot, and then turned his stare on Thomas and Marina. Thomas grinned sheepishly.

"We're trying to use it to find out how to get Thomas's abilities back." Marina cast a glance over her left shoulder pondering what would happen if their plan failed.
"Oh," James said. "That should be easy... we just find the right controller, I think, but I bet Perkn still has it on his person." ((Derp... where's Perkn?))
Marina walked up to James and whispered in his ear. She told him that the robot was convinced that Thomas was Perkn and that the real Perkn was an imposter.
James gulped. "Um... I'm talking about the impostor Perkn, of course," he said quickly. "He stole the controller."
