Jess Gill I definately agree... one of the best YA books I've read in a long time. Reminded me of "Stones from the River" by Ursula Hegi.

Lisa Winn This is a great book to suggest to the young adults, younger adults and those very adult adults in your life. A well written story about a girl growing up German in Germany during WWII. Michael Zusak has some other stuff out as well, but I think The Book Thief is his best.

Carrie I agree. One of the best books I have read in the past two years!

Sharon Just finished this book and I loved it! I haven't cried over a book in a long time and this one makes you love and cry for the characters.....

Krista Tillman Glad to know I wasn't the only one crying in the end - my tears were blurring up the words! I love historical fiction - this book included wonderful characters to fall in love with and it was refreshing to hear the story from such a unique point of view. This book is a MUST read!
