Have you read a book, where the heroine has protected her bad boy?

Examples:

1. She killed someone to save the bad boy's life
2. She rescued him from danger
3. She brought him time, so he could get a job done
4. She speaks on his behalf, when people are trying to come down on him

Etc.

I know a few heroines that fit this category.

Alyssa, Sophia, Jilly, Samantha (Sam).....

Okay Pamela.

Oh, I want to add Taylor from Strike Zone by Kate Angell. It's a sport romance book. In the last scene that I've read. She had a fight with a mascot for talking about her ex-fiance. She's dressed in a mascot as well.

I've seen this device before. Frankly, I love it when this happens, because it gives the heroine a chance to do her thing. I'm trying to think of cases that would fit. Aha! I got one!

A Heart So Wild by Johanna Lindsey. One of my all time faves. I wore out my first copy of this book. Courtney (one of the best heroines ever) saves Chandos when he's bit by a rattlesnake.

Passion Unleashed by Larissa Ione. Serena's method of saving Wraith is unconventional. I won't spoil you. Read it if you want to know.

I'll try to think of more. Great question, Arch!

Just thought of one more:

When a Texan Gambles by Jodi Thomas--Sarah nurses Sam through a bad gunshot wound.

Sans I know I keep mentioning BDB, but Bella protects Z and Phury at the end of book 3. Not sure how much of this might be spoiler-ish, so I'm staying vague here.

Thanks Danielle.

You guys don't have to tell what the heroine did. You can just list her name and book she's in.

Yay! I haven't met too many other fans of this book!

Pickles (angstypickles) I think it was one of the first several books I read by her. The very first was Love Only Once. I loved Chandos!

I need to read both of those.

message 18: by Yz the Whyz (new)

Yz the Whyz (whyz) | 54 comments I recommend them both highly, although Hope's Folly is part of a series. However, it is a wonderful series, so the books are worth the read.
