Young woman runs off road in snow storm [s]

I read this book over 20 years ago, maybe 25 years ago. It may have been a young adult book but I'm not sure. A young woman perhaps between 18 and 25 was driving in the country and drove off the road in a severe snow storm. She stayed in her car for a few days, maybe more, surviving on the snacks she had in her purse. Eventually she had to leave the car and begin walking. She survived outside for quite a long time until she eventually came to a house after walking for days or weeks. I may be off with the timelines.
