The Dexter Novels

I currently love the television show, but there is a whole slew of books that the show was based off of.

Has anyone read of of these books? What did you think? Better, Worse, or so Completely Different They're Incomparable? Would you recommend any of them for me (or anyone else for that matter)?

Worse. One of the few times I will ever say that a book is worse than its counterpart movie or t.v. show.

I'd recommend reading the first book, maybe the second. The third book was total garbage. The fourth book was better, but only slightly.

I like the show and I just read the first book, I would say it's not quiet as good as the show but I didn't think it was a bad book, I mean I read it in a day which I don't do if a book is bad I get bored and put it down for days at a time if I don't enjoy it
