I think it's probably a good idea to have a year-round book suggestions thread here, rather than a new one each month. This will make choosing books to put in the polls at the end of the month much easier for me. :)

So, feel free to suggest some classics that you would like to read.

Catamorandi (wwwgoodreadscomprofilerandi) | 9 comments Jane Eyre
The Count of Monte Cristo
Wuthering Heights
Rebecca
Madame Bovary
Sense and Sensibility
A Midsummer Night's Dream

Rachel (Snoopi) Here's one that is a Spanish classic but can be read in English: La Regenta / the Regent's Wife. About this work, briefly: "With its frank sexuality and searing critique of the Church, La Regenta scandalized contemporary Spain when it was first published in 1885." It would be fun to read a Classic from Spain, not as well known but certainly one of those that is always studied and learned.

Carmen (carmenxrae) Maybe for future months we could read a classic horror!?
