Wendy (wendyblue1) | 10 comments Approx 20 years ago I read a trilogy based in the Orient. I loved it sooo much that I really want to read it again.
From what I can remember it involved an American man sailing on a spice ship to the Orient.
That's all I can remember.

I would appreciate anyone's help or input.
Thanks :)

Michele | 2425 comments Do you remember when it was set -- 1800s, 1900s? Anything about the main character -- was he the captain of the ship, or just a member of the crew, or a passenger? Was there a romance involved? Was the man upper class, lower class, middle class?Since it was a trilogy there must have been lots of other events that happened -- do you remember any? Even little snippets of information might trigger somebody's memory.

Hmmmm it was so many years ago but I believe he was the Captain and yes there was a romance. I believe the cargo may may been spices.

Michele | 2425 comments It was historical fiction, then, no elements of fantasy or supernatural?

Michele | 2425 comments "Orient" could mean China, Japan, anywhere in Asia. Do you remember a specific country?
