2000 Copies of Secret Speakers are being printed right now

2000 copies of Secret Speakers are being printed today and I was told that Costco will be placing 1,000 copies in April. Wow. Their starting SS in all nine state stores, instead of the usual three because of what people like you have done to help drive interest. Thank you so much.

And what a relief. I almost don't know what to do with myself! I just had a couple bars of chocolate (thin little skinny ones), let the dog out, and I suppose I'll go watch Oprah. In the morning I'll be designing the signs that go up in Costco, and getting the audio book ready to manufacture.

The printer just emailed me and let me know that the books are shipping out to the warehouse right now. Breathe. Sigh. It's real.

I'm looking forward to holding a copy in my hands. It represents thousands of hours of work right here at this desk, or from my laptop on my lap in bed or on the sofa. This first print edition won't be glossy, except for the butterfly. That will be glossy, along with the title. I think it will look really beautiful.
