Tamee I read this in a reader-theatre method with my 7th grader English students. Their reading wasn't up to snuff and we only had five books to circulate through the room for all the parts. American education system--what can you do?
Nevertheless, the kids got into it and came away with (hopefully) a better understanding of what happens when the media gets a hold of a story. It ended rather pathetically for all involved and the love interest character plot (albeit only a 9th grader) left me wishing for something more happy; reality, ah reality.

Do most kids Phillip's age act like the characters in Nothing But The Truth? Being a homeschooler, I have little experience with seventh grade children.

Fran I'm home-schooled too!
