Just finished The Golden Compass. It's a good story. I enjoy the adventure and the alternate universe thingy, and Lyra is a loveable character. But another cliffhanger!! Can't wait to read the second book!

Just started
I really enjoyed Matched but people have said that Crossed isn't as good so I'm a bit worried
Almost finished The Hobbit! As awesome as it was the first time, and better! :D Then it's LotR for me! And probably Inkheart, Beauty, The Sight and Queen or Sorcery.
finished the second book in the Covenent series
it was very similar in plot to the second book in the Vampire Academy series (rolls eyes) anywho I loved the VA series so I continue to read them its very good fanfiction.
I am reading Eragon
by Christopher Paolini I started it the other day and I am enjoying it, but not much. I've read some pretty bad reviews on an it's not all that bad. It's a lot like the Lord of the Rings. It has dwarves, elves, dragons, and a lot of magic. I'm on page 115.

I agree, it is like a simplified version of LOTR. I didn't like Eragon much either, but Eldest was amazing, so if you just hang in there I'm sure you'll change your mind :)

Beautiful Creatures, The Liar Society, Fathomless, Eclipse, and Crossed. Yes I read many books at a time. Haha
My first time posting here. Not sure how to navigate the site, but I just released the 2nd and 3rd books in a 5th/6th grade mystery series, The Adventures of Cristopher and Erica. The individual titles are The Mystery of the Presidential Papers and The Candle Rock Mystery. The first book, The Mystery of the Jubilee Emerald, published by MONDO Publishing in NYC was released a few years ago. All three are available in E book format now.
My question is how do you promote ebooks today? my publisher is a scholastic publisher and sells to schools and libraries only. I want these books to be available to everyone.
Purple Flower wrote: "I am reading Wild Orchid a Retelling of The Ballad of Mulan by Cameron Dokey."Finished it! It was good.
Now I'm reading The World Above by Cameron Dokey... that author again.
Right now I'm reading a couple of Star Wars books and some John Greene books (Abundance of Katherine's and Looking for Alaska). I really want to start The Help soon!
Divergent, listening to The Warlock the Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel, I know that there are more, but I can't remember the rest.

Working on How the Mind Works. I got it for my birthday. It is very slow, not because I don't like it but because it makes me feel stupid.Rereading Lock and Key. I love Sarah Dessen.
I also got In the Plex: How Google Thinks, Works, and Shapes Our Lives for my birthday but I will wait to finish How the Mind Works before I start that.
I recently read The Girl With Borrowed Wings and that was extremely good.

I'm half way through and it's great, but am a little lost now and then. It's a big cast of characters! Then I plan to read the third in the series :) then maybe back to the first. It was what I did with Harry Potter :)
Nice! haha I'm on the 3rd book right now, but trying to read a bunch of other books! Riht now I'm reading Ultraviolet and Hidden! Love them both!:)
Yes, you did! I am also gonna get Sun and Moon, Ice and Snow tomorrow, finally!! lol I can't wait to read it:)

Woah... I love that book. Good choice. Did you hearthere's a sequel? It's called Sapphique. So what am I reading RIGHT NOW?
The Divergent stuff and Remarkable by Lizzie K. Foley. Both very enjoyable!!!!

Just read the third book which I like much better (much less incest!!). Do you know if the City of Fallen Angels is any good?
Ooh and I keep hearing about Ice and Snow, good?
i just finished Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks, and am now half way through the Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness.
