Stacy (stacylienemann) Will Alexander Chee get this match-up right? Your thoughts . . .

Stacy (stacylienemann) The Lacuna was beautifully written, but I've heard the Frida/Diego/Trotsky story too many times to make the plot feel fresh. I haven't read Fever Chart so it's hard to compare. However, I'm going to go with Fever Chart only because I assume the plot would be fresher, although perhaps not as well written . . .

Scott | 50 comments Fever Chart sounds like a book I would really like but I wonder if it can take on Kingsolver. I've never read Kingsolver but gather people think she is pretty good.
I'll pick Fever Chart to win.

Miriam | 17 comments I've read neither and have refused to read any new Kingsolver for years, but lots of people are really liking this book. I know nothing about Fever Chart (except the Amazon description which compares it to the Confederacy of Dunces). It will really depend on who reads it, but my money is on Lacuna.
