Definitely liked how Sam wasn't creepy or stalker-y. On the other hand, he still struck me as being larger-than-life, too good to be true. Anybody else think the same?

I think most fantasy books don't just deal with supernatural creatures, but fantastical situations. Barring the were-nature of the book, it is still a story wherein the romance is extremely rare- the devotion that Sam and Grace had for each other, that love-at-first-sight-ness, is fantastical. Possible, but still fantastical.
Plus- brooding but caring, tortured, devoted, and talented? Not to mention supacute. Definitely too good to be true.
