Sally this is one of the most fascinating books I've ever read -- amazing story of a psychic who could see inside the human body and while in a trance, make a diagnosis and recommend a treatment. This book is about his early days and how he developed this amazing gift. GREAT reading!

Maureen Hi Sally,
I first heard of Edgar Cayce many many years ago from a library book. I was bowled over and so impressed about what Tom Sugrue wrote that I typed (on typewriter!!) several pages about the beginning of life and have since re-typed it onto my PC. At that time, the book wasn't available but I see it is now! Typical, after my hours of writing! :-D

Michele Anderson Reading about Edgar Cayce used to be one of my favorite pastimes. There are dozens of good books. There's also the Edgar Cayce foundation known as, The Association For Research & Enlightenment. There's a monthly magazine, readings, and lots of books. :)

Maureen Hi Michele, Don't think I knew of the monthly magazine, etc but will look into this when I have a bit more time. Coming across Desmond Shaw (or is it Shaw Desmond? I always get this muddled up). I was watching a film I'd taped to a video tape, and saw this chap reading a book. It had nothing to do with the film BUT I was curious to know what book it was. Well, more revelations and so I managed to get it from the library. The beauty of it was, that there were loads of references to other great Spiritual books!! ♥ Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ ♥

Michele Anderson Here's the link, Maureen to the catalog, http://ARECatalog.com. My friends exchanged books about Cayce and related topics for several years. We learned a lot. Take care. :)

Maureen Hi Michele, Thank you for the link. I have saved it for now for later browsing. The one I had from 2006 is this http://www.spiritlink.com/cayce.html

You too take care xxxx

Linda Brunner Another fan here of the book, There is a River but also a life long student of the material that came out of those readings.
I have been using that information most of my adult life.
It has also helped me understand many of the unique and compelling experiences that I've had. That we all can have.
Edgar Cayce was quite the fellow.

Maureen It's so beautiful to see other people who are aware of Edgar Cayce and his life. I saw a TV programme some months ago and it was all about Edgar C and it was fascinating.

Gaylecarin Can you tell me the name of the program on Edgar Cayce that you watched.. who produced or network?? Thanks

Maureen I can't really remember but I have just found this link on Youtube.
