Sweeter prefers green. He always buys green. I think they're tasteless and will eat them but don't really like them much.

I love red grapes. They're rich and full of flavor, and can be frozen to make a delicious treat. (the green ones just turn into ice cubes if you try to freeze them.) I even like the deep purple ones with seeds.

What about you? Do you have a grape preference?

PS: I hate "grape" juice, popsicles, jelly, etc.

Félix (habitseven) Red. Definitely red. Seedless.

message 3: by [deleted user] (new)

Green seedless.

I love grape juice.

message 4: by Mandy (new)

Mandy (mandypants) I love the red grapes, even the ones with seeds. The only way I eat green ones are frozen. I like the little ice cubes.

Félix (habitseven) Seeds are a bummer for me. Patoohey!

Jonathan Lopez | 4728 comments Red. And I honestly don't mind seeds--they just add a little crunch!

janine | 7715 comments i like both green and red, with or without seeds doesn't really matter to me, i just eat all of it. i don't like the real dark red ones they pass of as 'blue'.

RandomAnthony | 14537 comments Am I the only one who can't taste the difference?

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8993 comments Seedless, and both red and green are good. I like the extra pop of the red ones, the skins are tighter. :)

message 12: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) I lke red ones with chicken salad and green ones with cheese.

message 13: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) I know, right?

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8993 comments I like cuties with cheese, those little tangerines. Yum!
I like grapes with Cheetohs and a tuna fish sandwich. Or, I did when I was a kid, anyways. :)

message 15: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) I never had cuties. Are they like clementines?

I like apples with my cheese. A gala plus a mini Babel is yummmero.

And I just had two cuties! They are a brand of clementines, I believe.

message 17: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Cheese and pears. In a salad.

message 18: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) or hazelnuts.

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8993 comments Cuties are what they're calling clementines, and mandarins, too, I think. They're just those seedless little oranges that come in a box, or a bag. I love 'em!

Félix (habitseven) They are good. Easy to peel, too.

message 21: by RandomAnthony (new)

RandomAnthony | 14537 comments I don't like them in a box because the box is too hard to recycle.

We forgot to celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday.

I like them in a box because I find the box handy for other stuff.

Sarah | 13815 comments If we're talking supermarket grapes, I'm ok with seedless red or green.
But the Concord grapes from the farmer's market are the best of all.

PS Grape fans, you may want to buy your grapes this weekend, because most grapes we get in winter come from Chile, and the supply will be interrupted after the shipments already on their way here arrive. They won't be on sale again for a while, for sure.

message 24: by Rachel (new)

Rachel | 1107 comments I like both! Have you guys tried the really, really dark coloured ones, as in, nearly purplish black kind of dark? They're the best!

message 25: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) We don't get those here. :(

message 26: by Rachel (new)

Rachel | 1107 comments Aww...too bad... they're really great!!

Yep, I like these better. Greens are usually tasteless

Mon Dieu! You know what I'm talking about!? I thought Larry said you guys didn't have it? Wait...which part of planet earth do you live on?

message 29: by Her (new)

Her Majesty (hermajesty) | 122 comments I'm not exactly sure where they come from, Rachel. Either Egypt or Lebanon, as far as I'm concerned we get them from the grocery :)

message 30: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Oh my.
