Add threads, discussion topics and folders... A group is more fun when everyone is involved in all aspects... In my opinion.

Alycia *covering ears*

I love the BDB! I have my definite favorites though :)

Heather (Let's-Go-Pens-We're-Gonna-Take-This-One) I haven't ever heard of it before. Is it romance?

Yes, it's all about Vampires. It was alright... I haven't finsihed the series, although I own all the books.. (of course, it's a sickness, I tell you)

Heather (Let's-Go-Pens-We're-Gonna-Take-This-One) Yup, you're one sick puppy!

Carla (carlaann13) I have never read a vampire series Twilight or otherwise. I guess it is because it seemed geared towards my daughter and nieces. Are the story lines something a more mature reader would enjoy?

Well, I would hope so... Cause I loved Twilight. Lol. It is my 'teenage angst' book, I've read the series 2wice, and probably read them again. As far as The BDB series, they are definatly a mature read.

message 14: by Carla (new)

Carla (carlaann13) Thank you - my 11yr old is reading Twilight (very slowly) I will have to try BDB after I finish Echo. I don't have enough time to read!!!! I am in awe of all you ladies that can quickly get through these books.

The BDB is definitely for adults, it is not young adult.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) You might want to try Urban Fantasy instead of PNR then. BDB is about the hookup leading to the happily ever after. If you want more storyline/action with romance mixed in, then Urban Fantasy might be more up your alley.

My favorite in this medium is Night Huntress. It has the best qualities of both a PNR and Urban Fantasy series combined. It has a lot of great storyline, a sexy man (my all time favorite in adult PNR), a kick-butt female, and great sexual tension without it being the only thing in the story.

Halfway to the Grave (Night Huntress, #1) by Jeaniene Frost One Foot in the Grave (Night Huntress, #2) by Jeaniene Frost At Grave's End (Night Huntress, #3) by Jeaniene Frost Destined for an Early Grave (Night Huntress, #4) by Jeaniene Frost

message 17: by Suza (new)

Suza Kates (suzakates) I was on the fence about the BDB in book one, but now I'm addicted and have to finish the series!

Another good series is the Demonica series by Larissa Ione. Very fast paced and lots of sexual tension. For those new to PNR, the love scenes are usually a little more...um...graphic. Just a heads-up!

Marcella (marcella6) | 886 comments Suza...the BDB books were recommended to me by none other than Amazon since I get all my books from there. I must say that was the best email I ever got in my life. The first page of the first chapter of the first book got me hook, line and sinker. I am officially a BDB addict and proud of it!!! ;-)

message 23: by Marcella (new)

Marcella (marcella6) | 886 comments Can someone help me out? The dork that I am, I seem to have deleted the link to the Blay/Qhuinn story. And for the life of me I can't seem to remember who wrote the story on here. Please help! I'm in fricking withdrawals. I need some sort of BDB fix.

Thanks...you are the bestest. :-)

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Yeah, it never hurts to ask in these groups because you never know where you'll find the answer, but sometimes it's harder to find someone who knows. I belong to the Nook group myself and they're awesome with helping work through random problems, so I'm sure the Kindle group is just as good.

We do have a section here for ebooks. You should post it there... Regina has both (kindle and nook) and it's really helpful!

Never thought of joining a nook group :) You have all the bright ideas!

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) If there was a "stubbed your toe" group, I'd probably join it.

Oh my god...you all have walked into the bedframe before? You mean I'm not alone?

message 45: by Leea (new)

message 46: by Ladyhawk (new)

Ladyhawk | 381 comments HAHA! No you are not alone! I have broken my little toe more than once doing just that!
Your right though Stacia, you never know what you'll learn here!

message 47: by Ottilie (new)

Ottilie (ottilie_weber) | 438 comments I did that this weekend, I didn't realize where the metal part of the bed stand was and accidently wacked a toe against it...

message 48: by Marcella (new)

Marcella (marcella6) | 886 comments That totally gives me the chills when people talk about stubbing toes.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) It's like hitting your funny bone or getting a paper cut - one of those things that shouldn't hurt as much as it does.

message 50: by Marcella (new)

Marcella (marcella6) | 886 comments Exactly right Stacia.
