Alex Hey Fivebooks! I'll admit that my first response was irritation because this looked like self-promotion, but...actually, these are cool pieces. Thanks for sharing them.

Loved this sentence from Dan Morrison, in response to "How was traveling down the Nile?":

"Sometimes frightful; it had been a long time since I’d had to take cover from gunfire."

I'm not sure whether I wish I was the kind of guy who might someday use that sentence, or just glad I'm not.

Andrea | 127 comments Yes, Alex, I agree. I wasn't sure if this was "kosher" but the lists are interesting. Just important to keep the "listers" own biases in mind. Micheala Wrong, for example, always writes downers and seems to be partial to reading them.
