Francie, how did you like Key Lime Pie Murder? It comes somewhere toward the end of the series she's written so far. I like the overall tone, and description of Hannah and her friends, mostly upbeat, nothing really 'graphic', and lots of just daily routine stuff...but to me that's not boring. And the fact that she has two boyfriends keeps it interesting...

I really enjoyed Key Lime Pie Murder. I think the whole series is fun to read. You're right, it's not graphic, which is another reason why I like reading it. It's a nice break from all the paranormal stuff I've been reading lately. I sorta wish she'd hurry up and chose between Mike & Norman (I'd pick Norman, what a sweet guy).

Francie - Have you watched the tv show? I am wondering if the story line in the book follows the show closely. My daughter LOVES the show, watched the pilot episode four times, and I would like to get her reading the series.

It does and it doesnt. Pretty much everything that happened in the first episode, started & ended in the first book (if that makes any sense). So far I've only read the first book. I had to order the 2nd & 3rd books. I haven't seen the 2nd episode yet, because my cable messed up recording it last night. But I think the 2nd book talks about that whole Jenna thing (like the show..)
