Am I missing something? I didn't care for it. Want to chat about it?

Wasn't there a spot where a woman was reported at stealing a gun at a gun shop, while she must've already had the ammo according to the account...Maybe I'm getting this confused with another book, but if not...WHAT did that have to do AT ALL with this book? I expected it to be a foreshadowing of Jodi being the one to steal the handguns, but no dice at all...Peter stole them from his neighbor...so WHERE did he get the ammo? Can someone clear this up for me, esp the "Gunshop theft" by a woman?

♥Gracie♥ | 6 comments Er...gunshop theft? I'm pretty sure it wasn't mentioned in Nineteen minutes. Although in Perfect Match, Nina Frost DID buy a gun on the way to court, but no, she didn't steal it.

Anna Lee | 4 comments Gunshop theft was definetly not nineteen minutes

Claire | 2 comments No, it was not... but there was the woman Alex met from the case, right?

I think you got your details a little mixed up. Here is what happened: The mother of one of the victims (the mentally disabled girl) of the shooting went to the gun store with ammo in her purse. She asked the clerk if she could look at one of the guns, which he let her. While he wasn't looking she loaded the gun and committed suicide.

Alexis | 10 comments I don't remember a gunshop theft, but it's been a long time since I've read this novel.
