I liked this book, but it was my least favorite by Gaiman. I didn't think Shadow was very well developed, either. But then again I read it about 2 years ago.

I agree Tahleen. This was the second time I've attempted American Gods, and it was definitely not as enjoyable as other Gaiman books. And for the longest time I thought they were never going to resolve the missing children aspect of the story. I liked it, but I expected more from this book.
