You can't really make dark treacle. Try buying some. I actually went to a restaurant for the stuff.
Nice! I mean just make plain treacle... But I'd mess up on both, so it wouldn't make a difference.
Dark treacle is just a different kind of treacle. It's not like the relationship between milk and dark chocolate, it's just different stuff. In fact, I'll find out if there is a recipe.
