Ella (ellamc) Early question, since I'm thinking of taking a trip in early April:

I've got Me & Emma here, and I honestly had no clue what it was about until just now. Someone sent me an ARC ages ago, and I never got around to it, but I've been dealing with some pretty heavy stuff lately & crying pretty much constantly. Reading reviews quickly, nearly every one mentions crying -- hard -- while reading this book.

Ladies, is it really THAT sad? Hopefully I'll at least have better anti-depressants by mid-April, but still ;)

Otherwise, I also have the first April Book (and March's second book) on my shelves -- all unread! How embarrassing. At least you guys are making me read the books I have piled all over the house.

Thanks if anyone can give me a heads up.

Cindy (cyndil62) | 1774 comments No help for you here on the book "Me & Emma", I haven't read it yet either. If you are feeling sad, I would say that now is not the time for you to be reading a book that may be sad at all. You should read some Mary Kay Andrews! I really liked Savannah Blues and it will have you laughing in parts! Or how about some Jen Lancaster...she is really funny!
Feel better!!

Jenny (narcisse) | 209 comments I thought that since we'll be reading it this month, some people might like to know that Me & Emma is only $3.99 on Kindle right now. :)

Gwen | 52 comments I picked up a copy of "Me & Emma" at our local Goodwill yesterday. When do we start reading and chatting?
