The Grinch wanted to be loved and treated like everyone else but no one treated him the same in fact they treated him poorly during christmas time so he was lead to 'steal christmas'

yeah....I think anyone that read the book should be aware of that.
I thought it was because he was pagan and tried to steal it back from the Christians.
So you are basically saying that he was just a misunderstood Grinch who needed love?
