Snowstar stepped up onto the great rock as her small group of clan members settled among smaller rocks.

Lilacheart walked in.

Fawnstar led her dogs in.

Soulstar led her dogs in as well, taking her place with the other leaders.

Mapleheart sat down in the clearing.

Fawnstar stepped onto the rock and dipped her head to Snowstar and Soulstar.

Soulstar dipped her head back, wondering what the other leaders were going to say about the Omen, and what they had heard. She decided not to speak first, but to wait and see how they would begin with the terrible news.

Snowstar nodded to the other leaders, waiting for Blazingstar to arrive.

Brightsun sat with the other deputies, and glanced at the other leaders anxiously, wondering what they would say about the Omen.

Wolfclaw sat down near the edge of the clearing, and glanced around.

Rowanwing yawned, and looked up at the leaders.

Blazingstar reached the Gathering place and leapt up onto the rock, nodding curtly to the other leaders

Falconpaw bounced around excitedly, his tail wagging

Shadowfang approached Rowanwing "Hi" she greeted coolly

Dawncloud walked over to join the other Healers "How's the prey running?" she asked in her usual friendly tone

Sharptooth grumbled under his breath as he waited for the gathering to begin.

Snowstar looked down at the dogs gathered below and howled to signal the gathering was starting. She stepped forward being the first one to speak.

"Greetings" She said "MoonPack is doing well and we have plenty of prey" She glanced around the clearing "Earlier today we scented fox on our territory, a whole pack. So I give you a warning to keep your eyes open until we find out where the foxes are nesting. Also we received a very strange omen from Starpack and we have reason to believe it has to do with all the clans" She nodded to Lilacheart, "Please repeat what you have heard"

Darkheart sat down under a tree, where his pelt blended in and others could not see him. He listened to the leaders

Soulstar nodded to Snowstar and Lilacheart slightly, as if confirming that they, too, had heard the news.

Sleetpaw's tail lashed, it's bushy fur trailing over the ground noiselessly. An omen?

Blazestorm, too, looked to the Healer warily. He hadn't been told of this by his Healer or leader.

Brightsun tensed, and glanced at Lilacheart.

Wolfclaw growled slightly, but remained silent.

Rowanwing looked at Lilacheart.

Sleetpaw stared at Lilacheart, tense for the Healer to begin to speak.

Lilacheart stood up and padded foward and spoke in a hushed voice,"A great storm is coming...The sun will go out, the moon will not shine, and darkness will conquer. Leaves will fall from their trees, and all that is great will be lost. But four shall rise, and tooth and claw will be no more."

Sleetpaw gasped, her eyes widening. That sounded terrible! Blazestorm tensed where he was sitting a little ways off from her, a growl rising in his throat.

Fawnstar tensed.

Blackshine growled and lashed her tail.

Lilacheart dipped her head and sat back down.

Rowanwing looked up at the leaders aswell.

Wolfclaw growled. "How could StarPack let this happen?"

Soulstar gazed over the packs with a calm, reassuring gaze. Her stance was confident, as if she was going to fight the Omen off herself. "If I may break in for a moment, Snowstar." Her piercing eyes swept the dogs. "Sunpack has received the same omen, and our Healer has her own theory of its meaning. She believes that it foretells doom to the four clans; sun, moon, and leaves refer to Sunpack, Moonpack, and Leafpack. We believe that Tooth and Claw may be Toothpack, and that the prophecy is foretelling its total demise."

Fawnstar looked at Soulstar and dipped her head. "Leafpack has also recieved this omen as well."

Wolfclaw jumped to his feet. "If there really is a storm comming, then what can we do? How can we survive this omen?" he barked.

Soulstar nodded in acknowledgement. "We believe, too, that the "four shall rise" part of the prophecy may be referring to four dogs that will attempt to combat the prophecy."

Fawnstar nodded in agreement. "But we are not totally sure about what is going to happen next. Only Starpack knows."

Wolfclaw growled. "But how can only four dogs, if they succeed, rebuild the packs? It's impossible! StarPack can't let this happen!"

Rowanwing looked at Wolfclaw, then back at the leaders.

"If they succeed, and this is if that truly is Starpack's meaning, then the packs should not die out. We must not lose faith in Starpack's will."

"Soulstar is right. We must give it a try for Starpack's sake. Why else would they send us this omen?" Fawnstar said.

Snowstar listened silently to the leaders then broke in "For now we must not get ahead of ourselves" She said "The omen could mean anything, Starpack works in mysterious ways"

Fawnstar nodded in agreement. "We must not take this too harshly."

"Leafpack also, has nothing to report as well. We should wait for more word from Starpack or our Medicine dogs for more information," Fawnstar said.

"ToothPack has nothing to report either" Blazingstar said indifferently, glaring at any SunPack member that came in sight simply for suggesting that ToothPack would fall. If ToothPack will fall then I must extend our territory... he thought

Soulstar dipped her head in agreement. "Snowstar is right--we may speculate, but we cannot be sure of what Starpack really meant by the omen. We cannot do anything about it for now, anyway--how can we fight an omen we know nothing about?" She paused for a moment. "Otherwise, Sunpack has named a new apprentice. Honeypup is now Honeypaw, and she is standing guard at camp."

"But you still seem certain that ToothPack will die out. Shouldn't we focus on making sure this doesn't happen?" challenged Blazingstar "Afterall, StarPack did intend for their to be four Packs"

"I am not even close to certain that Toothpack will die out," Soulstar barked back. Her expression was cold. "It is, once again, only speculation from my Healer and myself that may or may not be true. If you are so adamant to work to prevent this, what do you suggest we attempt?"
