Bucket | 7 comments We talked about reading Joseph Andrews for next time and I'm pretty excited to read it again! It was published in 1742 and is one of the first 'novels' ever published in English. It's interesting to read it in this light. More important to me though is that it is both hysterical and ridiculous. The background information about it on Wikipedia is pretty good (link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_A...) but don't read too much of the summary!

We didn't discuss when and where the next meeting would be so I wanted to offer up my place if you all don't mind traveling over the west hills! If it's a bit too far, no problem! Also, are we still aiming for a Sunday evening - perhaps March 15 or March 22?

Thanks for giving the update! I'm excited about this new book...

I'm totally fine with going wherever, although I might ask for a ride there, or schlep myself out there with a fine bus ride!

I would vote for March 22nd cause I've got a hella busy month coming up. Thoughts?

Kate (katelyman) | 4 comments I like the idea of March 22nd. It may take me that long to read the book. :) I am totally fine with heading out westward and could provide a ride to whoever needs it!
