Annashu, the winner of the Fall/Winter challenge, was nice enough to give her spot to design a task to the 2nd place winner (as she had already designed one for winning the School Year challenge). The second place winner was Jules! Her task has been posted (20.4) and the task list for the Spring/Summer challenge is now complete!! I think you all will enjoy her task. I know I do! :)
Her task is:
Spring, the time for new love: Read two books by authors you haven't read before.
The challenge will start on March 1st!

Just to let everyone know..due to some circumstances that I talked about in the Support Group thread..I might not be on to update the leaderboard or field questions this week. Lori can answer any and all questions though so please direct them to her.
I'll be in DC for the weekend so I won't be around to answer questions. Sorry! I'll answer them when I get back! :)
The leaderboard is FINALLY updated. I would like to apologize for that. Things have been crazy lately--my boyfriend's father passing away, my grandpa had open heart surgery, and my little sister has been in the hospital and they don't know what's wrong with her...so I honestly haven't had any time to sit down and update the leaderboard which has grown IMMENSELY! :) And not to mention, we have so many double and even triple names that I had to be very careful to figure out who was who! lol
To reward everyone for bearing with me, I figured I'd throw a surprise in here.
THIS WEEK ONLY (4/5-4/12 11:59 pm EST)
Pick one 5, 10, or 15 point task that you wish could be taken out. Then, read any book that you want if it’s place. The entire book MUST be read within this week and your points MUST be claimed within this week. Please say which task you are replacing.

SURPRISE!
If you finish a task by this Friday (6/18 by 9 pm) AND start a discussion thread/post to an already existing thread related to the book(s)you read for the task, you will be in the running to be able to read 2 books of your choice for a 25 point task (or a lower point one if you prefer). Only ONE person will be drawn at random! When you claim your points make sure you let me know which thread you posted on that was related to your book. By related to your book I mean that it could be a thread about the book or if your book is a vampire book you could post in the thread about vampires/zombies..etc)

Also--for those of you reading BIG books--by the end of the challenge let me know if you think you have read the biggest book for the challenge! If you are the winner, you will get to pick a task!
And the winner of the latest surprise, thanks to my handy dandy random number generator, is Abbey Sophia!
This challenge is coming to an end on August 21st at 11:59 PM EST. Make sure you claim your points before then or else they won't be on the official leaderboard.
SURPRISE:
If you think you have read the biggest book, please post here and tell me how many pages it is. The person who read the biggest book will get to put a book of their choice in a 5, 10, or 15 book task of their choice! The deadline for getting your page count in is 9 am (EST) on August 20th.

I have read lots of larger books, just not sure which ones were on the challenge. I will look and get back.
*edit*
Atlas Shrugged 1168 pages was my largest that was on the challenge.

The Spring/Summer challenge is over! Thanks to everyone who participated! Our winner for this challenge was Jess with 600 points! I'll notify you all when I get her challenge added to the list for the Fall/Winter tasks!

Congrats Jess, you must have read a lot of interesting books :D.
