I love Sam also, however, I have only read Gone Too Far. Is there anyone else worth reading/loving in the series since I would like to read another one of her books (I know Arch, Sammmmm!!)

Yes Saninhbham, Sammmmmmmmmmmmmm! :)
My other baby is Dave Malkoff. I have a thread for him as well, but I haven't posted a lot to it yet.
I love nerds. Well, the ones that catches my eyes and Dave has caught my attention. What can I say, I'm a nerd too.

Just like Sam, I love peanut M&M. I call them Mr. and Mrs.
Everytime, I see the yellow M&M, I think about Sam. I have him as my AIM icon.

Yes, Arch, if Sam is your baby, and he's a father, does that make you a granny? LOLHe is the hottest of the heroes I've read in the past 20 years or so, but you, Arch, have the skill to make the other Samaholics jealous.
I, too, am a huge fan of Sam. I think one thing that is so endearing about Sam is that he is not perfect, yet he earns Alyssa's faith anyway. (It just takes five books for him to do it.)
lol Mollie, no I am not a granny. :)
I'll have to reread Gone Too Far soon and the other books that he and Alyssa are in. I mean their parts only.
I wish I had a book with just their parts in, including Gone Too Far.
Sam has gotten himself a wonderful woman, when he hooked up with Alyssa.

I want to read the series again soon, I'm going to look for all the Izzy references. Something about his irreverence does it for me.

Hang in there Linda. The first few books does presents some bumps for these two people that are in love with one another.

I wonder if Sam is still jealous over Max. I wonder what he would do is Alyssa had to do a mission with Max.
Yes, I know that Max is a married man now. I know that in Force of Nature, Sam still couldn't stand Max.

Arch, I know All Through the Night: A Troubleshooter Christmas is not your cup of tea because it is about a homosexual relationship, but Alyssa was part of the mission that rescued Max and Jules. It was right after we learned that she is pregnant. Jules tells Robin, "She was actually part of the task force who came to pull us out. She stayed on the helo with the other non-SEALs, but you better believe she would've been boots on the ground if we'd needed her.... Sam doesn't know whether to sh!t or go blind.... He alternates between being beside himself with excitement, and stricken with terror." My impression is that Sam is more concerned with Alyssa's safety than worried about Max.I find it kind of funny that Jules is amused by Sam's angst.
Mollie, I own the book. A week after the book came out, I became the owner of the book. A buddy of mine thought that I needed to own the book, because she knows how much I love Sam and Alyssa and she knew, before the book came out that I have told her and another buddy that Alyssa was going to be pregnant and that they were going to have a baby boy and I was right.

He would trust his woman enough to get through anything - Max included:):) Besides the relationship between Max and Gina is soooooo strong I don't see Max looking anywhere else:):)

I'm not saying that Max would look towards Alyssa. I am just wondering if Sam would still be jealousas over Max, because he and Alyssa once had a thing. They weren't in love with one another, but they were a couple.
I'm also not saying that Sam wouldn't trust Alyssa. Of course, he would trust her, but a lot of men tend to not want their wives around her ex.

Arch wrote: "...a lot of men tend to not want their wives around her ex. "I understand where you are coming from...you raise a valid point. I don't know if Brockmann chooses not to raise this issue, or if she felt it had been well-enough dealt with before they married. I need to re-read the series, and I promise I'll keep in mind the issue you raised.
This is just the kind of thing we discuss at our book club, and I appreciate your pointing out to me these points to look for while reading. Thanks, Arch!
I love Sam.
I love that he cooks. I'm sure that Alyssa have fun watching her husband cook and I am sure that Sam can be very bad. :)

There was a chocolate syrup scene in Defiant Hero. The second book. We only see when the chocolate syrup was discovered and read later that Sam used the syrup on Alyssa on the kitchen table.
