LaNaria (laenae) | 67 comments Name: France Denver
Age: 9
Appearance: a nest of curly brown hair, face as round as the moon, big round eyes (like a doll’s).
Things you know about the character so far: Her father called her “dandy” though she lets no one else call her that. She believes in destiny mostly because she heard that her mother did.
Things you know about the character's past: [year is in the 1800's:] France has been the only girl to live past infancy in her family for the past three generations (all she knows is that she’s been everybody’s girl for as long as she was born). When she was young (4-5) her father, Luke went off to war and died after three years of service. He only needed one more year of service for leave he was 23 (she doesn’t know this either). And at this point in her life the most important thing to her is the Farm which is in danger.
Where you think the character will end up: She's lived on the farm her whole life and her heart belongs there, but she'll go many places before she finds a place she can really call home.
What you want help with: She is an extremely quiet character and I can’t seem to express her hidden feelings.

She seems a little too mature for a 9 year old... sure, the grief and everything is good but I'm not sure if most 9 year olds understand death well. At least all the ones I know don't.

LaNaria (laenae) | 67 comments Sorry though it's heavily based off of me, I have this belief in old souls. And her difference is one thing that keeps her sullen, no one's quite caught up with her yet. I'll make her simpiler.

I adore her name. France Denver has a nice ring to it.

Plus I live in Denver. *wink wink*

Good ol' Denver Michigan.

Just kidding. That was random. I know Denver isn't in Michigan. It's in Illinois! (slap-happy Maxy alert)

Anytime you can toss a Denver or a Colorado reference in, I'm happy.

Ah, the only Beatles song I truly love. "Twist and Shout". Ah. As Baxter said, it's like love on a stick. If said stick is being shoved into your ear.

Sorry, that was random.
