MEN in FICTION

Everyone is discussing how writers do Great at capturing Women.. But what about the Men?
Are there writers out there that can speak for the MEN out there?

i have always loved the way that John Irving portrays the men in his novels. obviously he doesn't fall into the horror genre, but i love him just the same
