Yz the Whyz (whyz) | 9327 comments By popular request, we have put together a female counterpart to the Men We Love Challenge that we did last year.

The challenge it to read 10 books that feature heroines that fill the categories. There are 15 available, and you can pick and choose to come up with your complete 10.

Challenge Duration: March 1, 2010 - May 31, 2010

Categories are courtesy of Briansgirl "Master Book Sale Huntress" and Nikki. Thanks for pitching in. :)

1. Office/Clerical - Secretary, Assistant, Receptionist, etc.
2. Service Industry - Waitress, Maid, Hairdresser, Cashier, etc.

I think I've finally decided that monthly challenges are not the way to go. I can't read 10 in a month and I don't get enough variety (seriously have crashed and burned in the PNR challenge this month). These are all books that have strong female characters (at least they look like they do).

I'd say a bounty hunter would definetly qualify as a typically male job. Enforcer sounds like a cop, so that would as well.

There are very few challenges were you aren't allowed to modify your posted list. We love digging in our stacks and finding books to fit, but if we aren't in the mood to read them, we can change titles to something else along the way.
