This is more of prediction post. What do you think will happen to them in LIES? Where is their relationship going to lead.I just read the first 6 chapter of LIES and I'm honestly concerned about some things Diana said to Caine...

Idk, but at some point in the future i think Diana is going to make some kind of huge sacrifice to save Caine and prove she really does love him. :) just a guess though. I think though, before that, she might do something that causes Caine to loose his temper with her and hurt her...he's done it before...

OMG!! You guys read fast!!! I'm still on the first book. It's sooo good!!

I think Diana and Caine's relationship is going to go a bit further in Lies. And I think that Diana somehow are gong to prove for Caine that she love him too, too. That seems believable.

I agree completely. I also read the chapters, and when Caine was telling Diana how much he needed her and that she was all he had left, she didn't respond with sarcasm or a smirk. Given-she didn't respond at all, but even that's a step for Diana. The girl needs to be pushed into love and I think that Caine is showing his ability to do that. Diana not responding shows acceptance on her part, and the next step to acceptance... could be realization. I love these two TOO much! LOL! They just get you so frustrated and excited at the same time.
They're so HORRIBLE to each other, and yet that's what makes their love (if it IS love) so interesting! I can't wait to see where Michael Grant is going to go with this!
I hope MG does something cute with Diana and Caine. They're both....horrible people in a way, but Diana and Caine have this weird, natural chemistry and I wanna see what happens!

Hmmm, well Caine seems to have gone crazy(er). And I think from the way she talks to Caine, the big 15 poof might actually be a possibility.

I'm a wuss--and so emotional when it comes to books, it's like the only thing I'm emotional off. Books and movies, the rest I'm fine, hahaa.

Nah, I don't think there's a big chance for that Diana will die. After all, she's MG's favorite character. And as someone says, something similar allready have happened in hunger. Caine have allready proved that he will try to kill anyone who tries to hurt Diana.

What would happen to Caine and Diana (and Drake, especially Drake) if they live to the end of the series and enter back into the real world? I mean, cementing all of the kids's hands if they had powers? That can't be legal. XD What would happen to all these little outlaws if they make it to the end of the series and enter back into the normal world?
Even though I love Diana--I think Drake should kill her out of rage, then Caine freaks and kills Drake, and everyone within ten feet of him....now that would be epic! Lol.

Rachel- Yeah, I agree...BUT NOT DIANA. I doubt he will kill either Diana, Caine, or Drake. (Drake maybe in the last book?) Probably because of all the drama they bring. They are the ones that help make the plot go round more than anyone else, I think. And I think too many people would be upset and unhappy with the ending. They may kill Astrid, Dekka, or Orc (I think especially Orc and Howard are in danger of being killed.) That would have the right effect. Killing Diana just wouldn't be..right. Plus, don't forget about HUNGER. I don't think M.G. would repeat what happened, he's too creative for that. In the real world, I think that if Diana and Caine make the right choices from now on, no one would tell on them. I think that what happened in HUNGER effected Caine, and he just wants to lay low from now on. I certainly would. Also, think about just how many people have made mistakes that they would have gotten arrested for in the world outside of the FAYZ, there are too many to arrest every single one of them. But, still I think Diana and Caine would have more trouble than anyone else adjusting back to the normal world. I don't know how they'd handle it.And Rose- ...read HUNGER. LOL. Trust me, you really should before reading to many of these comments.
Updates- Michael Grant said that Diana (and I think Caine, too) change a LOT in PLAGUE. Thoughts? Opinions? DO you think they'll finally join Team Sam? Maybe instead of Team Sam vs. Team Caine, it will be Team Sam vs. Team Drake...? HOPEFULLY!

Don't forget Zil. I'm wondering if Caine and Sam will have to team up to take down 'Team Normal'? And maybe when Drake comes back he'll join Zil? That would be interesting, and natural, seeing as Drake hates both Caine and Sam. And I'm thinking the Darkness is still around, so that's another evil they'll have to fight. Wow, there's a lot going on! It'll definitely be interesting to see where it goes.

Hey, to everyone freaking out that Diana is going to die, don't kill yourselves! I was just reading M.G.'s Twitter and Diana is in PLAGUE and is a very "changed character" or something. YAY! She doesn't die for a while, then! Also, I really want to know if there are any steamy Caine-Diana scenes in PLAGUE, because we've been neglected of those! LOL! We need to come up with a nickname for Diana-Caine... like Diaine...or Caina. (The second sounds kind of weird...)

Has anyone considered that changed might be a bad thing? Like in the preview they talk about "the island" and that might lead to a bad outcome.

And they can't go over to the good side yet. They're too important to the plot as villains to survive 3 books as protagonists.
I still maintain that Diana is going to get pregnant... Although she's going to need yo start eating more for that to be possible...

Okay, I have to honestly say that I agree with most of your points.The main one being hat Diana is going to get pregnant. I REALLY think she is. I actually thought no one else thought so. But, if you put Caine's passion against Diana's pride, I think the passion is stronger. Also, with all the alcohol and drug conflicts, there has bound to be some sex problems, as well. Diana is old enough to get pregnant, she's in a relationship (well, close enough, anyway), and it's not like Astrid would get pregnant, what with her beliefs. However, I don't think they will change for the worse in PLAGUE, what more can happen to them? If M.G. keeps making things bad for Diana and Caine, things would get repetitive and boring...And I think all of us agree that GONE is never either of those things ;)
I think the change may be in PLAGUE if they do something good and shift to the good side, they just have to earn certain peoples respect first :D

I think he may be using reverse physiology, but I'm not sure. They're definitely going to team up by the end. Maybe in PLAGUE, maybe in DARKNESS. Ah, I want to see the ending, but I DON'T WANT IT TO END!!! And Rachel- When I said repetitive, I wasn't referring to their evil abilities ;) but I was saying that they have really, REALLY bad karma, if you think about it and something good's got to happen to them soon...Maybe it's this mysterious island they are leading to...
