Yep, The Lightning Theif, Sea of Monstrs, Titan's curse, Battle of Labrayth, and The Last Olypian.
The movie was officially based on the first one, but the book is quite different.
oh. I am going to read them all now! (after I have finished reading Da Vinci Code)
Tomorrow I get to go see the movie while my sister is at a birthday party. A kid in my class said the movie was disappointing and lame, and nothing like the book. I saw a clip of the movie last night on an interview. Grover I think seems too cool for Percy, and never scared. In the book he always seemed to be frightened of stuff. And Percy said this line: "Yeah.... I think I'm son of Poseidon." He said it in a cool way that I never thought he would sound like. Also, Annabeth was described in the book as; tall, athletic, curly long blonde hair, and gray eyes. In the movie as some of you may know she is NOTHING like she was described in the book. She has black hair, yes she is athletic, and has gray eyes. Rumors say that the only reason she got the job was because of her gray eyes. You would think that they could figure that nobody cares what color her eyes were, I mean they are hardly noticeable.
haha! I guess I'll have to read the books now! the movie was good,though. Tell me when you have seen it and what you thought
The only thing that truly bothered me about the movie was Annabeth's character. I didn't mind any of the subplots taken out or changed, but that wasn't Annabeth, and she's kind of crucial to Percy's story.
she's the main girl in the series. She was flirting with Percy and dark-haired and way too confident.

I simply love this series, the books, the movie, the sequel, the characters... it is a true rival even of Harry Potter, at least in my opinion.
