Comments on the March/April book The Mermaid Chair.

I liked this book. Though I had some personal issues with her actions. But the healing between her and her mom was really good.

I've started this book a couple of times now but I have found out it wasn't what I expected so I've been having trouble continuing to read it. So, I've put it aside. If I decide to get through it, I'll let you know. For now, it's unfinished for me. I'm sorry about that.

That is ok, some books grab us some don't. There are so many I want to read, that if I can't get in to it early on, I put it down and move on. There are books that people wave about that I can't get into and some I rave about others can't get into and I think that is ok.

Please feel free to read along when ever you are enjoying a book and feel free to put it down if you just are not into it.

I loved "the secret life of bees", and totally disliked "the mermaid chair". It happens....
