How was your Valentines day?

We all share this connection called love and Valentines day is a celebration of this love. So what did you think of today? Was it enjoyable for you?

Ha, not particularly. Spent the entire day with friends...friends who enjoy lying to me. But I got over it. Though they tore me away from watching a movie to go to Lake Street where they then forced me to pay for their meal. Once finished with that I continued to destroy my relationship with my best friend Kies. But...normal day. Haha, actually, it wasn't that bad...

Ok I know it's the day after valentines day but I'm gonna post anyway. (If thats alright with D.C. that is) I thought about my boyfriend nonstop and whished that I could be with him on that day. I texted him to wish him a happy valentines day and was happy to find that he responded almost instantly!

Yeah, he's a really great guy and I've known him for 3 1/2 years now so he can predict what I'm about to do sometimes. Expecially around the holidays

I think Valentine's Day is more like Single Awareness Day. This was the first Valentine's Day I wasn't spending with someone in four years :(

Oh I'm sorry to hear that, I was alone on valentines day too. the only way I could connect with my boyfriend is by texting or talking to him on the phone. And now I can't text him because I lost my cell phone :(

I really don't understand how everyone freaks out about Valentine's Day when they're single. It's not that big of a deal, seriously.

yeah thats true, but, once you've been in a relationship it's just hard to hear about other couples. I mean it does get better over time, but, at first you feel lonley.

Well, only if you aren't over the other relationship, which is more likely to happen if you were the one that was broken up with.

well it may seem like there are, but, most of the time when it seems like two people are going out they're just flirting.

Ain't that the truth. It's just when you're single on Valentine's Day they all seem to stand out a bit more. I'm used to having someone there with me, but lately I don't. Makes me a bit lonely :(

lol, I understand. When my step sis got her first boyfriend before me I felt so lonley and it made it harder because he would come to the house to hang out with her.
